Baker Mayfield’s Week 4 Passing Chart

October 1st, 2024

The Bucs still aren’t throwing deep (very much).

Joe sensed a pattern through the first three weeks. Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen wanted to limit his quarterback throwing 20 yards or more downfield.

Coen has had Baker Mayfield largely throwing outside the hashmarks. That was, until the Eagles’ game. On Sunday, Mayfield scattered passes all over, just not deep.

Mayfield had four attempts over 20 yards, per NexGen Stats, completing just one. Overall, Mayfield was 30-of-47 for 347 yards with two touchdowns and no picks.
