Health update
The injury bug is biting the Bucs hard this season. And it damn near cost them their best (?) running back.
Sunday, Rachaad White went down briefly early in the game with a groin issue — before Vita Vea left with a knee injury
It didn’t seem severe for White. He returned quickly to the game and was still his ineffective self on the ground.
Jeremy Fowler of BSPN reports a Bucs source appeared to downplay White’s injury and, per Fowler, said White “should be good.”
White is averaging 2.0 yards a carry but 11.4 yards a catch, where he excels.
So after a Chris Godwin gain of 19 yards on 3rd-and-22 yesterday, Bucs head coach Todd Bowles had a decision to make. [read more]
While Todd Bowles did not confirm early this afternoon that Vita Vea finished all testing related to his injured knee (suffered yesterday when YaYa Diaby fell on him), Bowles did say that his manbeast defensive tackle has a Grade 2 MCL sprain and it’s a “day-to-day” situation.
Joe is considering this great news.
