Lavonte David Will Miss At Least Four Weeks

Tuesday, December 21st, 2021

Joe picked up bad news from a trusted source this afternoon.

Lavonte David will miss the rest of the regular season and Wild Card weekend of the playoffs. His foot injury could be a complete season-ender but that’s unclear at this time.

What makes this extra awful is David had such a great game against the Saints before he got hurt late. He recorded 3 tackles for loss, a sack and 11 total tackles before exiting Sunday night in the fourth quarter.

It seemed like David finally was 100 percent from his October ankle injury that he explained was a long healing process.

Enjoy this evening’s Ira Kaufman Podcast!
