    @Joe how do they decide what game will be televised where?

    for example why the miami area doesnt televise the buccs?

    Combination of NFL broadcast rules, suits at CBS in New York (Miami is in an AFC/CBS market) along with the NFL and sometimes consultation with a local NFL team.

    The networks often broadcast a game they think is more likely to attract eyeballs. Now if the Bucs are playing at the same time as a Dolphins home game, then the Bucs will not be televised down there (nor will any team). If a home game is not blacked out, the NFL will not allow another NFL game to be broadcast at the same time as home game that is not blacked out.
