A Working Bye For Carl Nicks
October 7th, 2013Listen to the human armoire, Carl Nicks, talk today about the state of the Bucs and the bye week.
Nicks explained that it was a working/conditioning bye week for him because he sat out the first two games of the season. And Nicks scoffs at the notion that the Bucs are embarking on a fresh start. “That’s not real life. You know, you can’t just, ‘Alright guys, whatever happened the last four weeks,’ No. You just got to be adults about it and be professionals about it and keep it going.”

Freeman is history, gone, departed, terminated, through, finished, vanished, elsewhere, SYONARA, ADIOS, AU-REVOIR, Auf WIEDERSHEN, CHEERIO, ADJO, ANTIO, DO SVIDANIYA, HASTA LA VISTA, BYE-BYE…. SO LONG Of course, Schiano would say CAIO!!!

Is he giving up on the season like Joe?

Joe, your server seems a little slow. Taking a longer than normal to load pages epically pages with audio and video links. Not complaining, just explaining.
Nicks and Joseph need to step up and earn that paycheck. DM22 needs some holes to run thru.

How dare anybody give up on our Bucs just because our season is off to an 0-4 start. I mean, what is Vegas and every other sports statistic machine thinking considering we have a whopping 1.4% chance of making the playoffs.
As Ive said before Im a glass is half-full guy but Im more of a realist than anything. We will not be making the playoffs this year. I’ll happily sacrifice next year’s draft position in hopes we get some wins but lets be real here.

Quiters.
I have faced struggles before. I have toured half the planet. I have been shot at, faced communist soldiers armed with ak-47s, and was in Moscow when Gorby was kidnapped. I have witnessed murder, faced abuse as a child and had every reason to quit. But I never did.
Almost 20 years married in a society where most people go no more than 7. Have a son born with a birth defect who has had over 30 life threatening surgeries. I never quit.
Wrote my first novel at the tender age of 45 and had it rejected more times than I could count before it finally was published. Have written 9 books since. Even though few succeed as novelists, I never quit.
And I never will.
I have been a fan of this team from the start. Forced at first by my father until I understood the game. 22 losing seasons was nothing when compared to the first two seasons. But I never quit.
I’m not going to say you guys are not real fans. I think we all are unless you are rooting for the team to lose. But I do think you need to reconcider how you go about being fans.
