Countering “Intelligence” Of Talib & Blount

Greg Schiano is on high alert
Former Buccaneers Aqib Talib and LeGarrette Blount may not be the smartest guys to roam the earth, but they do have plenty of intelligence when it comes to the New Schiano Order, a regime that is no fan of leaked secrets.
Talib and Blount are now thriving under Bill Belicheat in New England, where the Bucs head Sunday.
Greg Schiano was clear, speaking on WDAE-AM 620 Monday, that he is on high alert to negate the knowledge Talib and Blount have no doubt passed on to their coaches and teammates.
“The thing that comes into play is that [Talib and Blount] do know and have an intimate knowledge of a lot of the things that we do,” Schiano said. “So we have to make sure that if there’s anything we feel that we can be compromised, you know, from an intelligence standpoint we have to make sure to change it up. That’s part of the game as well, knowing what they know and trying to adjust it.”
This sharing of knowledge is especially important this week, Joe believes, especially considering Talib and Blount represent both sides of the ball. And, if the Bucs, as Schiano says, “change it up,” then that could lead to more communication issues for a team that’s struggled with that. Lastly, Joe suspects Blount and Talib are extremely motivated to focus on every detail that could lead to a victory against Schiano.

Revis’ & Casillias’ intel against the Jets & Saints didn’t seem to help our offense against them. I don’t thin Talib & Blount will do us much damage. Josh Freeman’s eyes probably do more damage.
I think we will perform well against both players.

I dont know….I’d be more worried about Talib’s ability and talent more than anything. I dont think they’ll be able to run on us much….and we have “inside info” on how they play too….so its bleh to me.
All I know is we better be blitzing like a mofo…..especially if Amendola isnt playing (not too worried about Gronk, he’s not in football shape yet).
Man, Brady would KILL to have VJax and Williams right now!!!

Oh yeah, Joe. God forbid Blount reveals that pass might go to Williams or Jackson… you know, because those are the only two pass-catching options. A third option would be to cover the GROUND because that’s where the other passes go.
In all seriousness, is the Bucs offense SO CREATIVE that the Bucs coaches and fans could be SO ARROGANT as to think that maybe Blount could let them in on the vast array of looks? They don’t even have a TE worth covering! The third WR is averaging over a drop a game!

Blount and Talib have never showcased any type of “intelligence”. I’m not too concerned. More concerned with our offenses ability to get in the endzone.

V-jax will burn Talib but will probably still get multiple interceptions because of poorly thrown balls. He probably knows all of Free’s weaknesses (and there are a lot) that he is sharing with NE…. Belichick with 10 days to prepare for an inept Freeman… yikes. Defense may have to score multiple TDs this week if we are to win.

I highly doubt that Blount is going to offer much “intelligence” from the bench. What’s important to remember is that we also have intelligence on these two as well. With the speed of our defense, the Bucs will have time to put a mattress down before we put Blount down in the backfield. As for Talib, we have plenty of tape of him being burnt toast.

Based upon the last two weeks of football performance, they need not be concerned about leaked information that could beat the Bucs and instead play abundant attention to the bonehead plays we can eliminate to keep from beating themselves.
The Bucs are their own worst enemy on the turf and considering the glimpse of excellence on defense we need to just clean things up and get this offense humming on eight cylinders!
While at it… Sullivan needs to start calling some offensive plays that harmonize with the strengths of our position players.

No doubt Talib is “thriving” there but not Blount. 11 carries for 26 yards so far.
Not only will they have some inside knowledge but we practiced with them for almost a week and played them in pre-season. How much practice was missed because we didn’t want to show them too much.

I’m still not convinced Blount ever even knew the playbook.
I believe Talib used his as a weapon.

I’m sure this is the first time the word intelligence has been in an article with both Talib and Blount.
The Pats already know everything they need to know about the Bucs offense. Freeman holds on to the ball to long, stares down his primary receiver, throws off his back foot under pressure.
The Bucs defense if they play like the last 2 games has a great chance. Brady is going to try and dump it off underneath because of the pressure that will be on Brady. Claiborne may finish off Brady this time. This is the best case scenario for the Bucs to take this game in New England because the Pats are so thin at receiver.
