“It’s About Cameraderie, Brotherhood”

Among other topics addressed at the Josh Freeman media grilling this afternoon at One Buc Palace was a question to Freeman about whether he likes playing for Greg Schiano and whether he feels he can thrive under the New Schiano Order.
Freeman gave a heartfelt endorsement of Schiano, saying “it’s awesome” and “fun” playing for the head coach, and Freeman went on to say he likes how Schiano relates personally to him.
Freeman also reiterated that he spent a lot of 1-on-1 time with Schiano personally this season and offseason, something Freeman told media months ago.
Also, Freeman said he likes the “family” atmosphere Schiano fosters, as well as the little “sayings” and other rah-rah kind of stuff.
“It’s about camaraderie, brotherhood,” Freeman said.

You know I got a feeling the Bucs’ Defense is going to lead us to victory this weekend. They look strong and motivated, especially GMC inside. I know we have Revis and Goldson but GMC is the Man. He is their leader. They’re going to punish and beat up the Saints receivers just like they did the Jets.
I think all these BS distractions will actually fire them up and on to victory. Even Freeman will heve a good game. Go Bucs!!!

There, we heard from coach and Josh. Lets forget this garbage and pound the Aints back to New Orleans. The media will keep being the media, questioning every little wrinkle. Nothing like a win over the Saints to shut them up.

This is all blown way out of proportion. Focus on the next game and go out and win. Issue is with the play calling not the players. The team is not ready and that falls on the coaches.

Sounded like a guy who didn’t give a **it. No matter how dedicated you are to your craft it’s hard to perform well if you don’t really care. What a shame. His fire went out – who knows why – but it’s clearly out.

Personally I think that was one of his better more candid press conferences. Winning cures all. Need to win.

Josh’s body language during the press conference was very telling. He couldn’t get off that podium fast enough. I applaud him for getting up there and facing down this noise storm.
I really don’t want to believe all these rumors but until Josh improves his play and his work professionalism, it is not going to go away.
It is very apparent though that something is wrong with Freeman and he’s tightly wound up.
