“No More Of Those Plays Of Indecision”
June 13th, 2013It seems players at the top and bottom of the Bucs roster, and coaches and suits, are systematically wiping out every molecule of a potential excuse for poor performance in 2013.
This week, Josh Freeman verbally obliterated any chance that first-year miscommunication issues that plagued the Bucs’ passing attack last season would return, as chronicled in a video by electronic media czar J.P. Peterson of TampaBaySportsCentral.com.
“Making sure that the time that we get to the season there’s no more of those plays of indecision,” Freeman said of hard work he and players have put in this offseason. “Everbody’s going to be on the same and page, and we’re not going to hinder ourselves.”
There’s more in the video linked above, with Freeman going on about the readiness of the Bucs offense to be consistent and make strides.
All this exemplifies what Joe loves most about this coming Bucs season — no excuses.

tired of hearing, would just like to see it for season.

His presser right after the first two games will test his veracity . Hope this is true. Nothing would make me happier than playoffs and Super Bowl.

No excuses. Perfect.
This time for success is now. Period.

“tired of hearing, would just like to see it for season.” – then you might want to stop reading blogs in the offseason, because that’s all you’re getting until September.

This post should have been proof read before published.
On topic, I like it. Last year it seemed like there was some confusion. This year, except for maybe the rookies and new guys, there should be none.

Looks like all the weapons are in place.

Sounds good! In theory……………………

Not so sure about this photo Joe, is Freeman growing a frohawk or has he changed his favorite Jackson to Tito?
Agree that after game 2 we will know better if there are no excuses
June 13th, 2013 at 2:24 pm
sounds the same as last year. let’s hope the results are different!
START GLENNON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 13th, 2013 at 2:49 pm
So why did indecision plague our “franchise” QB during the second half of last season?
Not hanging all of this on Freeman, mistakes were made all over the field, but his play clearly regressed more than any other Buc last season.
Am I the only one seeing this?
June 13th, 2013 at 3:58 pm
Robert,
Wow…”START GLENNON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”…Please tell me you’re kidding…That’s a smart move….Not!…Some people say anything to get attention…smh…
June 13th, 2013 at 4:06 pm
lmao at the Glennon comment……. nothing more to say about that… Just WOW.
This year we will see a different Freeman. I know people think the pressure is on, but I believe the defense will help take the pressure off. No more trying to hard and throwing to much.

Very excited abt the season

‘No Excuses’ was the name of the FF league last year. I think that sounds like a good motto for the Bucs 2013 year. Like 2002 ‘Pound the Rock’
June 13th, 2013 at 8:28 pm
The excuses won’t start until around game 8.
June 13th, 2013 at 8:45 pm
@Biff…”Freeman, mistakes were made all over the field, but his play clearly regressed more than any other Buc last season.” That’s a crock, how has he degressed, when he outplayed his 2011 season by a mile?
Some of you people just haven’t a clue about Freeman, I think he’s by far, the best QB the Bucs have ever had, he’s certainly has mad skills and talent that is hard to find, he’s a physical specimen with all the tools, so to say that he’s regressed is bullspit, stupid and just not true! No one here has EVER thrown for 4,000+yards along with 27 TD’s, and this under a first year head coach and yet another offensive philosophy that he had to digest and not an easy playbook either, I think it’s amazing that he did as well as he did considering, sure he had a stretch of bad games, but he was due, in the middle of the year, he was playing lights out, but having to abandon the running game because of playing from behind due to a horrific defensive backfield that was “record setting” BAD, inept and invisible! You’ll see, he’s only 25 yrs old (just turned) and has a ton of upside, the Bucs WILL sign #5-bank on it!!

Nothing better than hearing Josh is ready to go out on his shield and let the chips fall on his Career. A confident signal caller is a necesity
I say he steps his game up and begins to steal headlines from The big QB media darlings. Hope that Buc defense can also raise their level of play.
Its Time for the Tampa Buccaneers to make some noise again.
