Yup, i’ll definitely be getting a jersey. there are so few fellow Jamaicans in the league, and even fewer still on my beloved Bucs.
This guy by default has become my favorite defensive lineman… he’ll have to do some work to actually become my favorite player, lol.
Hope he sticks around longer than Price and Miller.

All of our draft picks seem to be down to earth, intelligent, team-first guys. Exactly what we need if you ask me. I was also impressed with the Glennon interview that is up on the Bucs site. Guy seems pretty sharp.

Solid dude…..very solid pick. This guy will be hard to handle in the middle & very well may be the anchor of the D-line. This guy is really, really strong & likes it!!!

YES! The guy has tree trunks for arms. Reminds me of Pittman. He seems grounded and humble enough. Hopefully those weight room heroics translate to the field. I like the pick.

@WestCoast I was thinking the same thing man, we haven’t had a guy with guns like Pittmans in a while. Quincy Black has some arms, but Spence here… freakin tree trunks

I saw this guy’s highlight tape. When he engages with the O-line, he doesn’t move his legs. He relies too much on his upper body strength. If the Bucs can coach him up to move his legs when he engages, he will be a solid NFL player. If not, he won’t get a 2nd contract.

He came out of nowhere (for me.) On paper, and this video, he looks like he might be as good as those 3 top DTs I was hoping for in the draft. Maybe he is a real steal. Hope so – will root for him.

He is the type that if he doesn’t get penetration that there is just going to be a stalemate. His Legs a huge too so I’m sure he isn’t easy to move. With technique and better leg drive he can be something special. I’m rooting for him.

He seems soo Happy to be there! He can barely contain his joy, I love to see that.
I pray Jah protects him from injury.
I like his story, another tale of an underdogg immigrant. Americans gotta love that. Because we are all the kin of immigrants in some form.
He has a solid background with a good father. And we can see the results. I wish more fathers would step and take care of their seed. Thats what we need.

All of this years draft picks stand out as being intelligent young men who are well grounded and seem to be outstanding individuals. These are the kind of guys who you love to root for. I Hope they make it! Can’t wait for the season to start! Go Bucs!

The brass wanted to replace Miller w/ someone with a bit more penetration ability. They may have gotten that, but it remains to be seen if Spence can stand in there & stuff the run.This guy has no comprehension of what an NFL double-team/combo block is like.
