Joe knows Bucs fans the world over are breathless for any morsel of news concerning the potential trade of Jets corner Darrelle Revis to the Bucs. Remember, it’s not a done deal, yet. But damn close.
How close? Consider the update from Woody Cummings of the Tampa Tribune just recently Twittered.
@RCummingsTBO: Bucs coach Greg Schiano is picking Darrelle Revis up at the Tampa International Jet Center right now … You’d have to think that if Schiano is picking Revis up this trade has to be all but agreed to
Indeed. Remember the last time the Bucs used Team Glazer’s private jet to lure a free agent to Tampa Bay to wine and dine?

Ah yes, the cycle continues, complain about Bucs corners > Bucs trade for best corner in the NFL > fans complain about draft picks lost.
Adding Revis makes our secondary pretty damn salty, something that can’t be guaranteed in the draft.

I still can’t believe we are blowing up the whole salary cap on one player that won’t push this team to a Super Bowl. Revis better have double digit int years along with shutting down every WR he goes against if not this move will be a epic bust which set the team back for years.

The only reason I was concerned is because I didnt want to mortgage our future on a me first injured player. But if what they are saying is true and we are only giving up our 1st this year and a couple picks next year… thats a win win for everyone. Hopefully Revis is or will be 100% by training camp.

Everyone loves ronde barber including myself . and you can say he is the greatest corner to play for the bucs and he had one double digit ints season. He didn’t forget how to intercepted the ball . NO!!! They stopped throwing the ball to his side . well expect that again with revis . the ball spent go to his side . Revis stops catches big play and more importantly TOUCHDOWNS .
