March 21st, 2013In a segment aptly titled “Loudmouths” from New York-based SNY-TV, Adam Schein and Chris Carlin talk about a potential Darrelle Revis trade from the Jets’ perspective. Joe’s a big fan of Schein, but he’s really off the mark here calling “Malcolm Glazer” a “meddlesome” owner.
The fellas here seem to think Jets owner Woody Johnson likely will be the first to cave in to get a deal done with the Bucs.

Not a chance in hell he’s getting $15 million average. I think Asomugha was the highest paid corner last year at $11 million. As it sits right now Champ Bailey is the highest at $9.5.

If we have to get Revis. I’d like to see a package deal with Tebow in the mix. Both of them will create a big draw to the team.

Glazers are not meddlesome. Even those that do not like them, have to give them credit there. If you do not believe it, then you are just Glazer haters and blind to the reality that is Mark Cuban, Jerry Jones, Steinbrenner’s, etc…

Not a chance they pay 15 million per for Revis.
That report MUST be coming from the Revis camp or agent or an ignorant media member.
The only things I have seen has said it would be 11-13 million per.
Which kind of makes sense because he would then be the highest paid CB and he is the best…. BUT after the achilles…. I bet it is more like 9-11.
Regardless, if he is healthy and a 1st rounder and a mid to late rounder is all they give up… I’d take him in a heartbeat.
TEBOW = = = WHY? Unless he is willing to be a full time TE, NOT A CHANCE.

Here is the deal. We take Tebow off the Jets hands and in return we give up nothing for Revis. In fact maybe the jets should throw in a 2nd round pick for us.
