Bucs Luck Out With Denver Weather

Perhaps the football gods do want the Bucs in the playoffs?
Joe just took a peek at the weather forecast in Denver for Sunday’s game against the Broncos, and the kickoff temperature is expected to be about 62 degrees under sunny skies and insignificant wind, with a high of 64 projected for the afternoon.
That’s darn near a miracle forecast for the Bucs.
Of course, those also are great playing conditions for the Broncos’ aerial attack.

I honestly think we would be better off with 15 degree weather, with freezling rain, and 50 mile per hour wind. If the conditions were good for whomever cold run the ball, we’d have a great chance… there’s always next week.

Maybe Doug Martin will see the words “Broncos” painted in the end zone and thinks he back at Boise State. We need this kid to pound the rock and keep the ball away from Manning.

Likelihood that Monte Kiffin will be the D Coordinator next year? Could happen based on what we have seen from our passing defense and the fact that the Glazers want to sell more tickets.

Viagra…the whole team needs to take a Viagra before the game..haha sounds funny right, well viagra increases blood flow which allows oxygen to be processed easier. I know this because when I moved here I had some trouble doing my normal work out routine and my Dr. tried to prescribe me viagra….

@Killian, not sure if we would go there. They were 9-3 when he announced he was leaving for Tennessee, that defense performed poorly that year. I think he would be welcomed but he wouldn’t be a savior most likely unless he incoporates a Tampa 2 with some modern blitzes. As of right now we don’t have a d-line that genrates enough pressure to be effective in that defense imo.
I think that the weather being good is a plus for the Bucs, we shall see.

Bringing Monte back as defensive coordinator would be awesome. His pass defenses combined with Schianos run defense would make our defense great. They run basically the same type of swarming defense. Why not give it a shot and it might bring more fans back to the stadium too. Btw Miguel your comparing a college spread offense against a college defense to the Nfl. I like how you only comment when the bucs lose, douche.

I just got in to Denver yesterday, and the weather is great. I was expecting to freeze. We shall see if that’s a good thing or a bad thing for the team.

I hope we are already there to get ready. I think if Schiano was ‘really’ so detailed. He would have flown us there on Wednesday to get acclimated better.

Is there a rule that says Kiffin can’t run a NFL type defense in college. After all, most USC players are being paid quite well. It’s just that the Kiffins are not very good coaches. When against a competent coaching staff, they always lose.
Do you people seriously think that the Glazer boys will forgive and forget Monte Kiffin quitting mid-season? That cost the Bucs 4 losses and the Glazers about $20 million to Gruden.
It only seems like I comment only after losses because they lose half of the time. Get used to it, the Little General’s lifetime (11 long years) record in college is the same as in the NFL, one game over .500. I’m actually here every day and active in the conversation, I’m just not part of the Amen Chorus.

I agree with Miguel on Sacbucs. I understand almost nothing he types, but I look at it as a good thing.
As for Schiano, I guess I admire you for being stubborn in your criticism. That being said, he has exceeded everyone’s expectations. He hasn’t been perfect, but no coach is. This was a 4-12 team last year, and he is dealing with an astonishing number of injuries to critical players. Most people can see that.
