Justin I can’t BELIEVE that you think the Bucs will draft **** ***** from **. That choice would be a real dark house.
Personally I agree with you on the defensive pick but you bring up some good points such as trading those picks for proven quantities.
People can whine about losing that #50 pick (round 2) for Winslow but in hindsight I have grown to like it. I mean look at your draft reviews from 1999-2001. How many picks that the Bucs made every work out?
Plus when you draft a “big name” in the first round they usually don’t have that much of an impact the 1st year because the NFL isn’t like college.
One thing you mentioned is Justin Tuck. i’d GLADLY trade our 3rd round pick to the Giants for Tuck. A first round pick? For a proven quantity maybe so.
How about this thought? Trade our 1st round pick to Arizona for Darnell Dockett?
Now I know he playd in a 3-4 but how about this: Trade out 3rd round to Cleveland for Shaun Rogers. Rogers wan’t OUT of Cleveland and at 6’4″/350 don’t you think Bates would like to have him?
