Chiefs QBs Don’t Scare Talib

Hopefully, Aqib Talib will round soon into Pro Bowl form and become a playmaking cornerback snatching passes and locking down receivers all game long.
But to hear Talib talk, it seems he thinks there won’t be many of those potential big plays to be had Sunday against Kansas City. In an interesting bit of audio from the Bucs’ Monday locker room session played on 98.7 FM this morning, Talib sounded confident the Chiefs won’t pose much of an aerial threat.
“The quarterback don’t do nothing but handoff the ball, in that situation, so we feel like if we knock that run out we’ll be alright,” Talib said of the Chiefs.
Joe can’t quibble with Talib’s scouting report but it’s a dangerous line of thinking. Talib’s been on the field when backup quarterbacks have beaten the Bucs.
Also, hopefully the Bucs will be forced defend the pass leading the Chiefs late in the game — preferably a two-score lead.

So… if someone is asked a question by a news reporter, wouldn’t you think that that person would at the very least try to reply with a complete sentence knowing full well he may be quoted in the news???

Only time talib scares anyone isvwhen his momma is involved with a pistol …he is a db that is not worth the drama . Bowe is probably super excited for Sunday

Can’t remember how many times the bucs have been beat by backup QB’s, slugs for the most part, and scrublib has been a part of some of those games.
Shut up and do your job on the field, you think they don’t have the Giants game tape scrublib?

The Bucs D will blitz all day and get no penetration as usual. Quinn and Bowe will burn the Bucs and the over thinkers on offense will again not move the ball. Backup QBs own this team. Chiefs win on Sunday. 23-13.

All the idiocy on this comment is hilarious..Talib is absolutely right. The QB’s are atrocious in KC and before you dare say well Tampa’s D is questionable not that we are a league leader in interceptions and the gaudy pass numbers were inflated by the NYG game.
TAC never ever compsre Casse;/Quinn to Mannning you are really showing your football IQ with that.
This game will result in the most convincing win of the season for us. The defense will register atleast 4sacks and 3 INT’s. Tampa wins 24-10

i could of been throwing the ball to Nicks and he still would of gone for 200yds. Talib it doesnt matter how bad the QB is if Bowe beats you time and time again like the rest of WR’s you have faced this year… YOUR BAD!! that being said we SHOULD win this game GO BUCS
