In between poring over game film, crafting pods in the Bucs’ draft war room, counting available cash in the team vault and trying to hammer out a deal with Connor Barth who eventually was franchised, rockstar Bucs general manager Mark Dominik called into the new noon-to-3 show on WQYK-AM 1010 hosted by NFL Draft guru Justin “The Commish” Pawlowski.
Today was the kickoff show for The Commish as he makes his move to dominate Tampa Bay sports radio. Dominik’s surprise call-in is available below. Just click the go button. Among other things, Dominik told The Commish to “Be critical, but be honest.”

Glad to hear the front office support him and his show. I remember a few weeks back, listening to the King David show hearing them moan and complain about not getting calls from anybody in the organization with infor about the teams plans. But judging by the shows negativity, i’m sure they were purposely avoided.

Always informative, always in tune. Thanks Commish. As a dying breed of remaining patient Buc fans, the next few months are crucial. It’s a tight knit, closed lip organization he’s trying to build a sustenance off of. But he sounds like an adult, I’m sure he’s well aware of this.

My computer crashed this morning, and I was driving all over Tampa today, looking for a deal on a new one. I got to listen to a lot of Justin’s new show, and it was great.
I learned Justin was born in Tampa. That sort of surprised me because Pawloski is a Polish last name, much more common in the midwest then it is here.
Justin wants the Saints to forfeit the franchise tag on Drew Brees for what they did with placing a Bounty on hurting opposing players.
I missed when Mark Dominik called in.
I think that was pretty cool of Mark to call in to Justins show.

Glad to see the commish back on the airwaves. Congrats!

When Dom told the Commish that he’ll be listening and to “Be critical, but be honest”, it sounded more like “Commish, we’re listening, and the moment you start criticizing the organization, we’ll cut all ties with you. just ask Shaun King.”

Love me some Justin, oh yea just don’t have king on your show, he’s an idiot.

More Commish and less any other radio host is great for Tampa area sports fans. I am a huge Commish fan and just wish my workday allowed me to listen during this time, but I will be podcasting. The Commish is great!

[Yup, you guessed it. That was personal. Now you are f’ing with Joe. Not a wise thing. — Joe]

Oh yeah, courtesy Jim Lahey and TPD on prior quote.

You’re right Joe, very bad “quote” joke and I’m sorry. Won’t happen again.

TPB, not TPD.

the Commish is entertaining and honest. he is critical to make a point, not to just be provocative. he paid his dues and deserves this opportunity. the king david show was just boring and predictable…like other shows on 1010. anywho, I hope he keeps a muzzle on his producer. xoxo

So excited the Commish got his shot. The dude more than deserves it. I’m just glad we have a local sports show that will actually talk sports. Congrats!!

Happy for the Commish, yet I will miss Shaun King’s in-depth analysis. He was an ok radio personality but great X’s and O’s voice from the football point of view. I hope Domink is canned next.

Justin is talented and hardworking and forthrigh. Dom is not.
I listened to Justin yesterday and turned it off when I heard Glazer Jr. spewing typical Glazer propaganda.

Really loved The Commish’s show yesterday. It would be nice to have king on once in a while on the commish’s show. I know he will say something crazy once in a while, but he has the pulse of the bucs every preseason and has been dead on predicting how the bucs season was going to go.

Justin is the best. So glad we have an attractive alternative to “Jimmy Crack Corn” the almost a TV star.

Justin P is the tonic that this station needs, I love JP Peterson, now that they’ve added Justin, I will try and find a way to listen while at work!!! Now if we can somehow get Ian Beckles off the air, that would be awesome because he thinks he is the authority on the NFL simply because he played, I think many fans are over his big headed ego! Way to go Justin, you are the consimate professional brother!!!
