The Bucs’ 2012 Opponents
January 1st, 2012Welcome to next year. And with the garbage football the Bucs put on the field this season, at least there’s a new set of games to look forward to.
The official 2012 schedule likely won’t be released until April, but here are the Bucs’ 2012 opponents:
Vikings
Rams
Redskins
Giants
Eagles
Cowboys
Broncos
Raiders
Chiefs
Chargers
Falcons (twice)
Saints (twice)
Panthers (twice)
There’s no such thing as an easy schedule in the NFL, but this sure looks like a tough slate. The AFC West has plenty of talent from top to bottom, and the NFC East shouldn’t have any clunkers.
It’ll be interesting to see if the schedule makers are kind to the Bucs ticket sales folks and grant them home games against the Broncos (Tim Tebow) and Eagles (Michael Vick).

Now that all the bottom tier of the teams have finished their season today. What exactly is our draft position now? 5 or 6?

Looks like 5 for us.

@Joe
The Broncos game WILL be in Tampa. The last time the Bucs played the Broncos was in Denver back in 2008.
January 1st, 2012 at 9:24 pm
The Eagles game also will be HOME for Tampa

Does that make for a tough schedule or an easy one? I just wanna know what to blame the Bucs record on in ’12.

If that schedule was played today with this roster, we would go 0-16. Even if we keep the same coach or get a high-profile, low-profile, or no-profile coach. This thing needs to be blown up and replaced with a new administration, a new strategy and the commmitted $s to put it into effect. Otherwise we’re going to have a long way to go and a short time to get there!!

Which games will our owners lobby to farm out to London?
Also, you mean that the rah Dom product itself won’t sell tickets we have to market our opponents? Sad
Great job guys. I wish Joe could pull my arguments with Jimbuc from 2009 about where we would be in 3 years.

I just watched Raheems press conference the guy looks super confident that hes will be with the team next year telling the media his schedule for tomorrow.

This list could read..
Plant High
Hillsbourgh High
Armwood High
Manatee High
Palmetto High
Jacksonville Bowles
Jefferson High
and I’d still have doubts on a win with thus garbage team and it’s garbage owners.

Will not have to wait for a schedule maker as schedules are on a rotation. Bucs will host Kansas city, Denver, philidelphia and washington along with 3 division games and go on road to san Diego, Oakland, Dallas, ny giants and division opponents. Road and home games for Minnesota and st. Louis will not be determined till later in year

January 1st, 2012 at 10:19 pm
4-12 again.

I don’t see Plant HS on the list. They are probably too tough for the Bucs.

wow – looked at the new schedule and with the state of the bucs, team morale, and fan morale, we might as well just leave rah in place….that schedule looks quite daunting and 10 losses seems inevitable next year from where we stand now…..all i can say is wow….we are a 4-12 in waiting…at this point that’s about all i can say…that schedule seems extremely overwhelming with the state of the franchise.

also i saw somewhere that we go to denver…..another place says denver comes to tampa….the league would be crazy to send us to denver….tebow to florida is the obvious way to go here…tebow to florida will cause a mania of small sorts…good for tampa, good for the nfl, and it’s basically an all around cash cow for all involved parties…..lets hope our brother tim te-bro visits cigar city!

We play the Broncos, Eagles and Redskins at home, among a few others that I can’t recall. The home and away games have been announced Joe.

Joe, unfortunately Tim Tebow WON’T be coming to Tampa in 2012 as the Bucs will have Kansas City and San Diego visit out of the AFC West (The Bucs go to Denver and Oakland). The Bucs will also be home to Philly, Washington and St. Louis while they travel to Dallas, New York (Giants) and Minnesota.
