Jags 41, Bucs 14
December 11th, 2011The Bucs have officially hit rock bottom. After getting out to the best start of the season (it only took 13 weeks), the Bucs imploded like Joe has never seen a team melt down before. Turnovers, penalties… you name it. The Jags, down 14-0, rallied with 28 unanswered points in the second quarter, the most points the Jags have scored all season. And it took them just one quarter to do this!
Joe will have more on this later, but even Raheem Morris’ most ardent supporters will have to admit his job security isn’t secure after this.
Right now, after a promising 4-2 start with a wild card certainly still in play as the Lions and Bears mired in a free fall, the season has devolved into, “Who should the Bucs draft in April?”
Good Lord, 41 unanwered points to a team that averaged 12 points a game, and Josh Freeman was benched.
Seven turnovers!

Bye bye Raheem.

Raheem Morris Farewell Tour 2011 continues. This is the worst Bucs team I’ve ever seen and I was at every Leman Bennett home game 85-86. The worst.

Without a doubt, Rah’s team is the worst in the NFL
His firing shouldn’t even be in doubt – you can’t make a case for keeping him

This team could very easily be 2-10 guys!!
We were in a dog fight against the winless Colts!!!! Curtis Painter burned our secondary twice for TD passes!!
We barely beat the horrible Vikings!

Benched when the game was out of reach, not for play but to protect a shoulder that was clearly hurting.

f*cking disgraceful, most undiscipline team ive ever seen i wasnt around for the 85-86 teams but i bet those d lineman could read a screen(noo one seems to be able to now )

Why do I care? Why do I watch? Thankfully I put away all sharp objects, the kids hid, the dogs were in their kennels and my wife was off for the afternoon. Actually we all sat here and laughed! Glazers, Rah, Greg, Josh, D-line, WR’s, Special teams (yeah you Preston) are awful. This organization is a frigging joke of mamoth proportions! Let me guess on Rah press conference tomorrow at noon: “We got beat. You saw that. I don’t have anything else to say about that. We’ll continue to fight, play hard, address what we have to internally and not here with you.”
Oh, and so much for the “simple” offense. It was simply atrocious. You bunch of buffoons!
December 11th, 2011 at 5:34 pm
That ranks right up there w/ the worst loss ever for this franchise! If the glazers care about this team half as much as that gay kickball team, they would do something immediately! If not than they are clearly moving the team! Go London Sillynannies!

“…out even Raheem Morris’ most ardent supporters will have to admit his job security isn’t secure after this.”
I don’t think Rah has any supporters left Joe.

Everyone keeps saying we should go CB or LB with the first pick, but we better think about getting another QB, because Freeman is living up to his “Bust-in-Waiting” nickname Joe gave him when he was drafted! We may be better off drafting RGIII and starting over, I don’t think Freeman is going to be a franchise QB.

“Gay kickball team” – derogatory and offenxive
December 11th, 2011 at 6:13 pm
Hey Uk_Buc: “Gay kickball team” was hilarious! And that comes from an ex-collegiate soccer player. Laugh already, ok, I did!
December 11th, 2011 at 6:15 pm
At what point did you think the anti-soccer reference was more offensive than using the term “gay” in a derogatory sense?? Wow…
December 11th, 2011 at 6:21 pm
I didn’t (and don’t) take it literally! So many friends of mine call(ed) the sport “gay” for various reasons. Big laugh. Not everything is literal and so darned serious.
December 11th, 2011 at 6:32 pm
Didn’t mean it literally, just emphasizing my disdain for the ownership right now. And I’m a little jealous, like the red-headed step- child. Oops sorry step kids and red heads! You know what I mean.
December 11th, 2011 at 6:34 pm
Jealous because they love the soccer team more.

Anyone want to write the Optimist column this week? I should get a pulitzer prize if I come off as optimistic after this crap.
