Carpenter Will Stay On Roster

Called up to the Bucs roster off the practice squad at the 11th hour before yesterday’s debacle, quarterback Rudy Carpenter will stay on the roster the rest of the season as the Bucs’ third-string quarterback.
Rockstar general manager Mark Dominik delivered the news on WDAE-AM 620 on Sunday.
Dominik said he didn’t want Carpenter exposed to other teams, which is what would happen if he were cut and the Bucs tried to stick him back on the practice squad.
Carpenter’s one handoff in yesterday’s game was his first-ever regular season action.

Put Freeman on the IR, surround him with real coaches, then see what he can do with that. He won’t do anything with this current offensive staff around him, why risk further injury?

This makes perfect sense for this bunch of CLOWNS running this organization to take a valuable roster spot and fill it with a scrub practice squad nobody rather a veteran defensive player or a shifty offensive player. One more reason, among the thousands, to fire the GM and the BUM they call coach. Blow this thing up and start over. Rah and Dom are in way over their head and it’s time for the Glazers to cut ties. @ Bucnnole And who would you suggest to fill these roster spots since the trade deadline has expired???? Maybe some practice squad ‘vets’ off of other teams htat everyone is clamoring for? I’m sure they have that ‘shifty offensive player’ and veteran defensive player that we need to take us to the next level.

What is Dominic smoking? Not wanting to expose Carpenter to other teams? This dudes ego is so big he thinks a bum like Carpenter will be plucked by another team . That’s damn funny and sad at the same time. This guy is clueless. Time to fire Dominic and Olson. If the owners aren’t going to clean house, these two idiots are a must.
