What the heck is watson doing on that coverage? talib was outside, lynch dropped deep middle, why is he going outside and letting a FB run right by him???
Outside flanker? There wasn’t one within 20 yards. Watson had under, Talib had him if he went past shallow middle. Talib hasn’t played a flanker this season. He’s been on the 2nd WR. Now he’s playing Fbs and RBs. Great!
@Capt Tim Why do you continue to say that Talib has only played the number two spot? It simply is not true. He has even covered a Will Heller on a play the first game of the season. He played #1 for the majority of his plays the first two weeks.
I have shown you multiple times. Knock off the lies already.
Freeman has been getting really lucky about forced passes falling incomplete, and its finally catching up to him today. This could be a long one if he keeps doing this.
How come Bucs fans are never allowed to enjoy the first half of a game. I’m usually so pissed off by the fourth quarter I just stare at the TV stoically.
Thomas, he finished his last season of college with 20 passing TD, 14 rushing TDs, and only 8 interceptions. That is not “commonplace”. He only had a bad season his first year. He also got better every year.
At least for Bucs Fan entertainment purposes,
i’d love to have a camera or even a mic in the locker room at half time when Mt.Rah erupts.
Let’s see how they come out in the second half…
if anybody does not go out and enjoy their afternoon instead watching this pathetic crap!!!
Gentlemen, you knew this was inevitable. Some of us have been calling this slow and predictable offense lame since pre-season but some of you keep defending them. Well now you see why it’s not recommended to start off game after game slow like this. I know raheem doesn’t like to talk about it but it’s going to get worse before better with these young players. The offensive routes scheme are lame and predictable. So I am not upset at all this has been building up all season, even the penalties have been a theme this year, and persoanlly I am tired of this crap. It is what it is and I am not moved by a win or a loss. This team is obviously unprepared in many phases and I am at peace with all of it. I am a Buc fan and have been so it’s just another example of this version of the Bucs. I will say that I watched the Panthers and the Saints game and I will say that even the Panthers offense is better than ours. They also look better prepared and faster. We have a long way to go. I am just glad football is here.
@Buc Neckid No kidding. I’m a fan, but there are far better things I could be doing than jumping in anger. I already had my wife take the dog to the vet for broken ribs. Next is the LED.
@architek Yup. We ran the same predictable garbage last year but now its on film. We have seen the final chapter of Olsens playbook. It is more of a short story than a novel for sure.
I love the FOX guys talking about how the Niners did not have an OTA season with their new coaches/players and it is looking like now they as a team are coming together.
And the BUCS?
Waiting…
Waiting…
(The life of a Bucs Fan)
Joe, It’s time to quite apologizing for Talib. He simply can’t play. Let him go and get somebody else in R1 next year. Also, our slow starts are entirely on Josh. He has no sense of urgency in the first half and it gets us killed.
its really nice to see how what was the strengths of the team last year is absolutely garbage now -.- and when the rest are no better were not gonna win anything
Screw it, the entire team looks bad. Kind of pointless to try and point out a weak spot in this game. They all look bad. Every single player. I haven’t seen such a bad game before.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! A penalty in the preseason and a penalty in the regular season for Raheem. He has been penalized at least once in each of his 3 seasons.
Time to run out the clock. It was a bad game guys. I am fairly certain it will be a better game next week. No team can play this bad two weeks in a row….. Can they?
“its really nice to see how what was the strengths of the team last year is absolutely garbage now -.- and when the rest are no better were not gonna win anything”
Yeah, and everybody kept denying that our easy schedule was a big reason for us going 10-6. I knew it was ONE of the reasons, but not THE reason. Sure is starting to look like THE reason for it now.
I think Mike Williams is a good receiver, but since he is really our only threat coming into the season, teams have been locking him up. We need a DeSean Jackson type receiver on this team. Someone that’s FAST and who can burn people constantly
Thomas….you seem like you are in your glory….couldn’t seem happier…what a shmuck!…and nice excuse about why you haven’t posted when the bucs are winning….loser
Umm this is the type of ass whooping they needed. I promise not to drink Bucs kool aid anymore this year. They are just like the Rays, undermanned, underpaid, weird coaching, and just a feel good story. At the end of the day, talent wins and the Bucs offense and the Rays offense was identical.
this year our schedule is very much harder then last year, NFC North instead of West, playing Texans, Titans ect.
and im starting to agree with people who doesnt like Rah, who is a secondary specialist and yet ours is horrible. he just isnt more then a position coach or motivator
Raheem needs to be a LITTLE more like Gruden. He needs to yell at his players and jump down their throats when they commit penalties and play crappy football like this. Gruden was much better as far as that goes
Thomas- Im sure you will be running your mouth all week only to disappear again if the Bucs win next Sunday. Its not called quitting. When your QB throws multiple picks in a row resulting in points for the other team its impossible to overcome. Freeman had his worst game since his rookie season. He will rebound.
if i hear a commentator say: “and it was nearly picked off” one more time, im afraid im gonna jump off a building -.-
we have what, 2 interceptions on the year? and about 6-8 dropped
I dont blame people for not buying in on this team, the masses can see through the smoking mirrors and the Duemig and Ron/Ian trying to make people believe this team is worth ticket sales is a joke. I have yet to see a game this year when the team looked prepared. Yes I said it, even the wins are suspect!
This game, fortunately, doesn’t matter much. Let them get it out of their system. The only thing that matters is
1) McCoy. If he misses games, it will be devastating.
2) we have to do something about our “team Strenght ” secondary. Biggers isnt good enough to be a #1 corner. Yet that’s what he’s playing. Talib is playing horrible- giving up TDs, and Dropping Ints( just dropped another) Raheem has already said he’s not Playing the #1 WRs( everyone knows this but Mauha). Now Mack drops int!! Our CBs , except Ronde, range from average to horrible. Something has to give
3) Meybe the bye week will help, but we gotta get Josh’s confidence back. Honestly, I think it will not happen until this offseason. He’s a classroom guy. It shows he was denied that.
4)Foster looks good. Need more LBers
Draft has to be CB, LB, CB
I’m sure a few will disagree, but I’m right.
Going to just forget this game. It happens to the best of teams.
Tim, how many pops have you had buddy! The team was not prepared to play a game today. What you saw was a NFL head coach, Harbaugh, embarrass a glorified cheerleader.
@Patrick,
You are right but at the end talent wins and the Bucs in many areas (especially on offense and secondary) this team lacks dominant players. Tampa Rays offense was exposed against the Rangers, two years in a row.
To me this is really a coaching clinic being displayed. C’mon two extra tackles, 1 TE and 1 FB as a set. Total clinic and disrespect.
Pure and total Lack of discipline, 100% on the head coach. The org just got embarrassed. This is why you need a true head coach. Watch what happens to the 49ers for the next decade- they will be great bc they are prepared by a great head coach.
I take it back. I love Ronde, but he’s looking a step slow. Sad to say that . Still going to his Hall of Fame induction, but would rather see Ronde as a nickel back.
Problem is, even having lost a step, he’s still our best.
It’s pretty sad how the Detroit Lions, who were 0-16 just 3 years ago, are now looking like a possible super bowl contender with the way they’re playing. We didn’t have nearly as bad of a situation as they did after 08′, and they’re still better than us now.
Chide, you guys are frikkin Pathetic! You should go hit the Jumper platform on the Skyway!
It’s one game. We are still 3-2
Historically, teams that play on Monday night, then travel cross coast only have won 11% of the time. We have lost our best Defensive player( McCoy), and our most important Offensive player( Blount) we don’t have anyone who can replace either of them. Nobody!!
To you idiots that keep talking bad about Free agency, there were alot of good players , who could have added depth to RB,DT, and especially CB.
That would help prevent lack of depth that’s killing us today.
Ronde is not at the top of our list of problems. I think we could use him, especially when you look at how badly coached this team is and how we have no leadership anywhere on the roster, except maybe Freeman and Winslow. But it’s different with him because he’s still a very young player.
This is WAY too young. And i mean WAY too young. Too immature, too inexperienced, etc.
We realize it’s only one game, but even though we’re 3-2, we’ve been seeing this from the Bucs all year. Freeman’s had to bail us out every time, and people are finally starting to realize that it can’t happen every game! This team could very easily be sitting at 1-4 right now.
if we won today, at 4-1 the national media would have hyped us up like crazy…but this blow out has set us back a pretty good amount…now the next 2 games are going to be pivotal vs the saints then bears in the uk on dictating our season….adam from ny
they just need to put this behind them….regroup and woop some saints a** next week and we will be ok….this was just a big unravelling and yes, seemingly getting out coached as well….this is just one to put in the rear view mirror asap…adam from ny
I don’t feel bad about losing this game. After all, it is just one game and its still early as some have suggested. What I do feel bad about is that I can no longer count Carolina as 2 sure wins!!
If this were an elite team like the Patriots or Packers beating us, I wouldn’t feel that bad. But this is the 49ers people, who are NOT THAT GOOD. They’re ok, but don’t you think it’s scary that they’re about to put up 50 on us?
This is now officially worse that the Azz woopin Dungy took from the Guru-den in Oakland. Hope Raheems get this worked out on all sides of the ball, or he will be gone soon. They all looked like Shiza.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:53 pm

They are 4-1…how is that not good???? You are going by previous years, my friend. Every year is different. Check the ranking of their defense.
The 49ers coaches deserve all the credit here. They came in with the perfect game plan.
One thing worth noting…the fans in San Fran and hte media had written their QB off. They gave up on him. But the 49ers stuck with him. They have a better than fair chance at a trip to the Superbowl.
a game like this can kill a team if they dwell in it…they lost this game almost from the get go….best to look forward…and as rah might say “next up”……they of course need to look at his game in detail, but process it quickly and move on….the next 2 weeks are really important games imho on how this season will play out….if we get waxed at home next week, this team is in big trouble going out to london…..as they will remember their last trip out to the uk where the pats ate us up like a tasty buffet….adam from ny
Yeah, Hood rat free, give up on the whole team because of one loss. Newsflash…5 games in and only 2 losses. That is a LOT better than I expected in the first half of the season. I expects 4-4 by mid season, and then a string of wins.
I thought Benn had some good moments today though. He’s improving from game to game. Williams though seems to be having a down second year. It’s a common occurance.
josh freeman is showing what he is truely about. he’s not going to get much better than this folks. he doesn’t suck, he just doesn’t have IT. he has gotten as far as he has due to his passion and his physical abilities which i commend, but that’s it.
FREEMAN CANNOT THROW INTO TIGHT WINDOWS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS! That’s the simple! This is an earned ability NOT learned. His vision is myopic (tunnel vision) which is why he telegraphs his throws in hopes that his strong arm makes up for his inabilities. He has no awareness peripherally which is a built in six sense that he does not possess. So how do we correct this? You can’t! It is what it is. Maybe the coaches will put a visor on him so the defense cannot read his eyes, but that’s simply a bandaid. Albeit, it sounds like a great idea in my opinion. Well, whatever happens, i will always support and be a Buccaneer fan. Go Bucs and God Bless!
lol…I don’t think catching the punt was a mistake. I think it no longer mattered so he did it for the heck of it. They’ll play it off as a mistake though so he doesn’t get fined.
And so…I can finally go to bed. Sick today, but I always stay up for my Bucs!
If McCoy and Blount are out. We aren’t beating anybody. If they play. We will beat the Saints.
I remember our great SuperBowl defense traveling to Oakland and getting demolished this bad. It happens. It’s one game.
The thing to learn is this- we can’t stack a bunch of 7th rounders and undrafted free agents on the team, and pretent we have depth. We don’t. We have no replacement for many of our key guys. We got nothing behind Blount. Or McCoy. Or Winslow. You can let the team brain wash you to the evils of free agency if you want. But next week, if you are watching Al Woods and Craig Lumpkin trying to beat the saints- your Gonba wish we had signed some great players to back up are key players.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:15 pm
so far were averaging 6 yards per carry and they are averaging 2! lol just being sarcastic
October 9th, 2011 at 4:16 pm
What the heck is watson doing on that coverage? talib was outside, lynch dropped deep middle, why is he going outside and letting a FB run right by him???
October 9th, 2011 at 4:18 pm
Wow! More great coverage by Talib! Yet another TD thrown on him to the THIRD WR option. I thought they might sit him this week. He’s just killing us!
October 9th, 2011 at 4:20 pm
That TD was not on Talib, he was on the outside flanker…..
October 9th, 2011 at 4:22 pm
Talib is not worth the trouble. I say he is not that talented to deal with his antics and failure on the field.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:23 pm
It’s on all of them~
October 9th, 2011 at 4:25 pm
offense sure is starting hot.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:31 pm
Outside flanker? There wasn’t one within 20 yards. Watson had under, Talib had him if he went past shallow middle. Talib hasn’t played a flanker this season. He’s been on the 2nd WR. Now he’s playing Fbs and RBs. Great!
October 9th, 2011 at 4:36 pm
Yes ! Bowers!!
October 9th, 2011 at 4:37 pm
GMC hurt again…
Really?
October 9th, 2011 at 4:38 pm
That doesn’t look good. He got twisted over our own guy, could be an ACL….
October 9th, 2011 at 4:38 pm
Where the hell is our defense??
October 9th, 2011 at 4:38 pm
Ugh! Hope McCoy isn’t hurt bad, or we are screwed
October 9th, 2011 at 4:41 pm
lets see some quicker timing passes from Freeman
October 9th, 2011 at 4:43 pm
McCoy tore his knee. Pretty obvious. Done for the year again.
This team is awful
October 9th, 2011 at 4:43 pm
Worst throw ever.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:44 pm
Josh Franchise is starting to look like just plain old Josh this year.
Another bad decision
October 9th, 2011 at 4:46 pm
We have alot of work to do better yet get some real coaches
October 9th, 2011 at 4:46 pm
Has anyone seen Freeman? I don’t know who the hell this guy is.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:46 pm
And here comes another infamous 3 and out
October 9th, 2011 at 4:48 pm
No off season has killed Josh so far this year. He really needed to spend the offseason at OneBuc to make the next step
October 9th, 2011 at 4:48 pm
@Capt Tim Why do you continue to say that Talib has only played the number two spot? It simply is not true. He has even covered a Will Heller on a play the first game of the season. He played #1 for the majority of his plays the first two weeks.
I have shown you multiple times. Knock off the lies already.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:52 pm
Another terrible TERRIBLE forced pass!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 4:52 pm
Whats up with the 3 step drops? It goes 1…2…3…throw. Not 1…2…3……….throw an interception!
October 9th, 2011 at 4:52 pm
time to test josh johnson? -.-
its starting to be painfull watching these guys play football in the first half
October 9th, 2011 at 4:52 pm
I would say THAT one was the worst throw ever
October 9th, 2011 at 4:53 pm
Oh boy. Its going to be a long day.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:53 pm
Freeman has been getting really lucky about forced passes falling incomplete, and its finally catching up to him today. This could be a long one if he keeps doing this.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:53 pm
I hope that gmc is okay. Really. But we will get to see Price and Okam.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:54 pm
Does it seem like confidence or ignorance that the Bucs think that they can continue to come back in Fourth Quarters?
October 9th, 2011 at 4:55 pm
How come Bucs fans are never allowed to enjoy the first half of a game. I’m usually so pissed off by the fourth quarter I just stare at the TV stoically.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:55 pm
FYI guys, these poor decisions and picks by Freeman were commonplace at K State and a reason why a lot of teams had a rated much lower than Dom.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:56 pm
This is what follows after a short week coupled with a trip across the country.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:56 pm
Let the slaughter begin
October 9th, 2011 at 4:56 pm
It seems like they are just terrible. EJ Biggers is awesome btw. Guaranteed yardage for the offense every time
October 9th, 2011 at 4:57 pm
Free will have 300 yards today. of course he will throw 60 passes.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:58 pm
Ohhhhhh…. so this is what a well coached team looks like.
Must be nice.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:58 pm
Can Raheem ever get pissed off or angry on the sideline?! Or does always just stand there scratching his chin?
October 9th, 2011 at 4:59 pm
Its official they’ve given up
October 9th, 2011 at 5:00 pm
Thomas, he finished his last season of college with 20 passing TD, 14 rushing TDs, and only 8 interceptions. That is not “commonplace”. He only had a bad season his first year. He also got better every year.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:00 pm
@scotty
does that mean about 5 interceptions?
and Aceofaerospace i agree 100%
October 9th, 2011 at 5:00 pm
He doesnt get issed off until after half time. Hopefully it wont be 35-3 by then
October 9th, 2011 at 5:01 pm
Wow. Nice run back.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:01 pm
Freeman looks awful today and this defense is disgustingly weak so far….
October 9th, 2011 at 5:02 pm
“Can Raheem ever get pissed off or angry on the sideline?! Or does always just stand there scratching his chin?”
Raheem doesn’t show any emotion until Freeman puts him on his back and comes back from behind.
Until then, he just stands over there looking overwhelmed… because he is.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:02 pm
Worst half by Freeman that I can remember…..
October 9th, 2011 at 5:02 pm
Oh great, we got the ball back, now San Francisco can score again.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:03 pm
Well…at least we havent fumbled yet.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:03 pm
I am completely thrown on how bad they look….. The only time the Bucs have looked good are when they r on the sidelines
October 9th, 2011 at 5:05 pm
Freeman doesnt look like he knows what to expect from their defense….
October 9th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Koenan, this is not the time or day to have a bad game.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
I dont get the penalties being called….. they maul our receivers with no call but we touch them and it is a penalty
October 9th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Wish Mike Williams would look for the ball instead of a flag
October 9th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Most offsides penalties in the NFL.
2nd most penalized team in the NFL.
That’s all you need to know about how crappy our DC/Head coach is.
Poor preparation.
I think Raheem had this team watching MNF Sportscenter highlights all week.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
AWESOME PUNT
October 9th, 2011 at 5:08 pm
I’m starting to think frees not the stud we think he is
October 9th, 2011 at 5:08 pm
The running lanes havent been there all year but today this defense is giving up the booty
October 9th, 2011 at 5:09 pm
This is embarrassing. Every one watching is laughing at us.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:09 pm
Did you just see that closeup of Josh on the sideline? Was he crying?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:10 pm
@Mauha it is embarassing, they look like the 3-13 team
October 9th, 2011 at 5:10 pm
@krod A bit early for that don’t you think? He is only 23. Let him progress. NO one ever said he was a Brady or Manning.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:10 pm
Can Raheem look anymore clueless over on the sideline?
Its embarrassing.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:11 pm
Biggers is weak
October 9th, 2011 at 5:11 pm
I wouldn’t go that far, big007. I’m sure this has a lot to do with a short week and cross country game.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:12 pm
@snook ur utter hatred for him is embarassing… did he kick ur puppy
October 9th, 2011 at 5:12 pm
Anyone else notice that as soon as McCoy left Gore started gashing us up the middle? He is our run block. Clayborn will be picked on a bunch too.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:13 pm
I meant run stop.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:13 pm
@mauha i noticed that, okam is getting punked by the oline
October 9th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
WTF!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
WHERE THE HELL IS FREEMAN THROWING THAT TO??????????????
October 9th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
Freeman is playing like byron leftwich today
October 9th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
It is almost as if the 49ers were at our gameplan meeting.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:16 pm
Another bad throw! Freeman must have a blindfold on!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:16 pm
I hate Greg Olsen!!!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:17 pm
Pathetic…. They dont even look like a real NFL team so far
October 9th, 2011 at 5:17 pm
Olson is HORRIBLE! The guy needs to go or this team will go nowhere fast.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:17 pm
What a boring offense to watch. Constant 3 and outs and sloppiness
October 9th, 2011 at 5:17 pm
Wow no pressure and barely any coverage by the DBs
October 9th, 2011 at 5:18 pm
@Mauha Deeb….or they have a hacker who managed to crack his way into out ipad playbooks…
October 9th, 2011 at 5:18 pm
31-3 coming up
October 9th, 2011 at 5:19 pm
HOW FAR BACK WAS WATSON GOING TO RUN??????????
October 9th, 2011 at 5:19 pm
Maybe Josh Johnson gave em the plays
October 9th, 2011 at 5:19 pm
I wonder if Josh Johnson sold us out to his old and future coach Harbaugh ?
It seems they KNOW everything Tampa is going to do!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:19 pm
Was Watson running home on that rush?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:20 pm
This is a new feeling for me…. being scared when the Bucs offense gets on the field?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:20 pm
uh oh….we get the ball back
October 9th, 2011 at 5:20 pm
The offense is so slow. How about running some no huddle.Come on Freeman quit staring down the WRs!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:20 pm
@uk bUC lmao!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:21 pm
nice fair catch
October 9th, 2011 at 5:22 pm
@Scotty LMAO! He really waved his arm with some aggressiveness on that one didn’t he.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:23 pm
If they dont get points on this drive then the Bucs might have to look into forfeiting the first half and give the other team at least a 17 point lead
October 9th, 2011 at 5:24 pm
West Coast Bucs are always “Out of sync”
October 9th, 2011 at 5:25 pm
Man K2 gave up on that play again………. and what the hell is Freeman doing?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:25 pm
Another drop by Mike Will
October 9th, 2011 at 5:25 pm
The FOX annoncers are just ripping Josh “Franchise” and the Bucs.
AND they are Right!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Run Josh Run
October 9th, 2011 at 5:26 pm
RUN IT FREEMAN!!!! YOU HAD A BUNCH OF SPACE IN FRONT OF YOU!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Pathetic…….. Freeman, Olsen, Mike Will, and the whole defense are absolutely pathetic
October 9th, 2011 at 5:27 pm
Can we just get on the plane at half time for England,
The bucs have already given up
October 9th, 2011 at 5:27 pm
Can we have a pass longer than 5 yards? Just shows that we don’t have any true deep threats
October 9th, 2011 at 5:27 pm
Now lets start adding some late hit penalties. Idiots.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:29 pm
Stupid penalties…. stupid play….. i am pretty much done getting fired up for this game, im spent
October 9th, 2011 at 5:30 pm
Man this is crazy
October 9th, 2011 at 5:30 pm
Wow, excited for half time? How sad that is……..
October 9th, 2011 at 5:30 pm
At least for Bucs Fan entertainment purposes,
i’d love to have a camera or even a mic in the locker room at half time when Mt.Rah erupts.
Let’s see how they come out in the second half…
if anybody does not go out and enjoy their afternoon instead watching this pathetic crap!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:31 pm
@big077 I know, man. My voice is horse and I’m stuck with angry Gruden face.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:31 pm
Oh yeah there’s a LB for the Bucs,
Heyward on the late hit on Special teams.
How much does he make?
what a Chump play
October 9th, 2011 at 5:31 pm

I will say that I watched the Panthers and the Saints game and I will say that even the Panthers offense is better than ours. They also look better prepared and faster. We have a long way to go. I am just glad football is here.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:33 pm
@Buc Neckid No kidding. I’m a fan, but there are far better things I could be doing than jumping in anger. I already had my wife take the dog to the vet for broken ribs. Next is the LED.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:33 pm
Is it just me or has all but one pick this year for free been him trying to force it to winslow?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:35 pm
Let’s see if a different team trots out at the second half…
October 9th, 2011 at 5:35 pm
@architek Yup. We ran the same predictable garbage last year but now its on film. We have seen the final chapter of Olsens playbook. It is more of a short story than a novel for sure.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:36 pm
We need to overhaul that secondary in the offseason
October 9th, 2011 at 5:36 pm
Greg Olsen is the most predictable and boring offensive coord in the league….
October 9th, 2011 at 5:38 pm
Freeman hasnt looked this bad since his rookie year against Carolina…. He is staring down the receivers
October 9th, 2011 at 5:43 pm
I love the FOX guys talking about how the Niners did not have an OTA season with their new coaches/players and it is looking like now they as a team are coming together.
And the BUCS?
Waiting…
Waiting…
(The life of a Bucs Fan)
October 9th, 2011 at 5:43 pm
The secondary sucks, Biggers would be a nice backup.Hope T-Jack comes back in shape!WTF are they ever going to re-instate him?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:45 pm
Cams gonna kick our ass
October 9th, 2011 at 5:46 pm
clayborn beat on a run play again.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:46 pm
Koenan is AWESOME!!!How about getting Freeman a tinted facemask shield!!!Throw some screens to BLOUNT!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:46 pm
GREAT start to the second half…the gore show
October 9th, 2011 at 5:47 pm
Kind of looks like the next Draft is going to go all Defense again…
October 9th, 2011 at 5:48 pm
BIGGERS SUCKS!!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Ho hum, 3rd in 15 no problem.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
I say draft because the Bucs don’t use Free Agency
October 9th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Someone give me a adjective for pathetic because that is what this team is right now
October 9th, 2011 at 5:50 pm
Aqib Talib freaking sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:50 pm
See here is Thomas… where was during the 3 game winning streak
October 9th, 2011 at 5:50 pm
This is pathetic.Thats was a BS penalty
October 9th, 2011 at 5:51 pm
The 3 teams the Bucs have beat are a combined 3-11.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:52 pm
My TV is off…. I am done watching this game…. have a good one guys
October 9th, 2011 at 5:52 pm
They suck
October 9th, 2011 at 5:52 pm
GAMEOVER!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:52 pm
Bighead, I have been chiming in when possible. Working out of the area for the last 2 weeks, tough to comment.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:53 pm
When did Alex Smith become an All Pro?
Oh yeah, he is playing the Bucs
October 9th, 2011 at 5:53 pm
Joe, It’s time to quite apologizing for Talib. He simply can’t play. Let him go and get somebody else in R1 next year. Also, our slow starts are entirely on Josh. He has no sense of urgency in the first half and it gets us killed.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:53 pm
BITCH SLAPPED
October 9th, 2011 at 5:53 pm
Wow the receiver drags our secondary 10 yards for the TD. Pathetic!
October 9th, 2011 at 5:54 pm
Jack, don’t worry Talib won’t be playing for anyone next year.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:55 pm
Wow…I have never seen Talib look so out of it
October 9th, 2011 at 5:55 pm
Omg this. Is amazing I’m now sure jj sold us out
October 9th, 2011 at 5:55 pm
Aqib looks bad.
@Patrick that was a TE. Still, should not have been so F’ing open.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:55 pm
Stat update…
Mike Williams = 6 yards this game
155 yards this season.
Really?
October 9th, 2011 at 5:56 pm
its really nice to see how what was the strengths of the team last year is absolutely garbage now -.- and when the rest are no better were not gonna win anything
October 9th, 2011 at 5:56 pm
I’d pull talib and put lewis in
October 9th, 2011 at 5:57 pm
Screw it, the entire team looks bad. Kind of pointless to try and point out a weak spot in this game. They all look bad. Every single player. I haven’t seen such a bad game before.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:58 pm
Mike Williams = Michael Clayton?
I think the question needs to be asked….. The dude looks like a one-year wonder. Although Freeman has also regressed too.
October 9th, 2011 at 5:59 pm
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! A penalty in the preseason and a penalty in the regular season for Raheem. He has been penalized at least once in each of his 3 seasons.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Where was the jump, Blount?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Hesitant Hurdle by Blount = OUCH
October 9th, 2011 at 6:01 pm
Blount might have hurt something on that one.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:01 pm
UGH WTF Raheem
October 9th, 2011 at 6:02 pm
Too much Rah Rah from Rah = 15 yards against the Bucs thanks to the coach
October 9th, 2011 at 6:02 pm
Wait a second now, that guy did not turn his head toward the ball. That should have been pass interference.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:03 pm
Guys, this team does have talent. I think a lot of it has to do with the coaching
October 9th, 2011 at 6:03 pm
That is two plays in a row that should have been defensive pass interference.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:04 pm
BUCS are complaining like a bunch of B!tches today.
That’s what a good ass kicking will do to an immature team
October 9th, 2011 at 6:05 pm
250k fines for violations, 100k fines for breaking rules, 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalties, unprepared team, horrible starts every game:
Is the Noose starting to tighten around rah rah’s throat? I think I hear some gurgling.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:06 pm
Time to run out the clock. It was a bad game guys. I am fairly certain it will be a better game next week. No team can play this bad two weeks in a row….. Can they?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:07 pm
Does Talib carry his sidearm on the field?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:07 pm
Talib is gonna pull a gun out in a sec
October 9th, 2011 at 6:07 pm
Typical Talib… The man can’t catch!!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Geno Hayes, finds the 1st blocker he can, and latches on.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:08 pm
@Steendaul
October 9th, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Ruuuuuuud!!!!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:08 pm
McCoy leaves and immediately Gore starts flying! I hope he is back next week.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Can you say: Quitting!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:09 pm
ruud looked worse than the bucs today
October 9th, 2011 at 6:09 pm
No team plays like this without bad coaching. That is the only thing I can think off.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:10 pm
Horrific effort
October 9th, 2011 at 6:10 pm
@Mauha
Teams without talent play like this
October 9th, 2011 at 6:11 pm
what have they been doing all week ? not film study for sure
October 9th, 2011 at 6:12 pm
Thomas….you seem like you are in your glory….couldn’t seem happier…what a shmuck!…and nice excuse about why you haven’t posted when the bucs are winning….loser
October 9th, 2011 at 6:12 pm
Umm this is the type of ass whooping they needed. I promise not to drink Bucs kool aid anymore this year. They are just like the Rays, undermanned, underpaid, weird coaching, and just a feel good story. At the end of the day, talent wins and the Bucs offense and the Rays offense was identical.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:12 pm
I’m out,
have fun dudes.
I gonna get a life for the rest of the day
October 9th, 2011 at 6:12 pm
@ patrick
this year our schedule is very much harder then last year, NFC North instead of West, playing Texans, Titans ect.
and im starting to agree with people who doesnt like Rah, who is a secondary specialist and yet ours is horrible. he just isnt more then a position coach or motivator
October 9th, 2011 at 6:13 pm
Raheem needs to be a LITTLE more like Gruden. He needs to yell at his players and jump down their throats when they commit penalties and play crappy football like this. Gruden was much better as far as that goes
October 9th, 2011 at 6:14 pm
Thomas- Im sure you will be running your mouth all week only to disappear again if the Bucs win next Sunday. Its not called quitting. When your QB throws multiple picks in a row resulting in points for the other team its impossible to overcome. Freeman had his worst game since his rookie season. He will rebound.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:14 pm
What a mentally tough, well disciplined team we have all the way up to our man-child coach! What an embarrassing display.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:15 pm
@Architek
The Rays story for the last 3 years has been more remarkable man. At least they beat good teams unlike the Bucs
October 9th, 2011 at 6:16 pm
Another blown pick 6! Jeez…
October 9th, 2011 at 6:18 pm
4th quarter. Comeback for the ages. Calling it.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:18 pm
if i hear a commentator say: “and it was nearly picked off” one more time, im afraid im gonna jump off a building -.-
we have what, 2 interceptions on the year? and about 6-8 dropped
October 9th, 2011 at 6:18 pm
I dont blame people for not buying in on this team, the masses can see through the smoking mirrors and the Duemig and Ron/Ian trying to make people believe this team is worth ticket sales is a joke. I have yet to see a game this year when the team looked prepared. Yes I said it, even the wins are suspect!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:20 pm
Bring back Ruud and Gruden! We need some vets on this team besides Barber, Faine and Winslow!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:20 pm
Anyone know whats up with McCoy? I missed it if they announced his injury status.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:22 pm
McCoy’s injured?!?!?! What a shock!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:22 pm
Mike williams got SMACKED, maybe now he remembers how to catch again.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:23 pm
It’s a fumble…
October 9th, 2011 at 6:23 pm
October 9th, 2011 at 6:27 pm
Tim, how many pops have you had buddy! The team was not prepared to play a game today. What you saw was a NFL head coach, Harbaugh, embarrass a glorified cheerleader.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:27 pm
@Patrick,
You are right but at the end talent wins and the Bucs in many areas (especially on offense and secondary) this team lacks dominant players. Tampa Rays offense was exposed against the Rangers, two years in a row.
To me this is really a coaching clinic being displayed. C’mon two extra tackles, 1 TE and 1 FB as a set. Total clinic and disrespect.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:29 pm
Time to go to the 3rd stringers…
October 9th, 2011 at 6:30 pm
This may be the single worst game of football I have ever seen.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Time to clean house…this is pathetic!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Maybe we weren’t yungry after all. Maybe we were young and lucky. You know lucky….
October 9th, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Pure and total Lack of discipline, 100% on the head coach. The org just got embarrassed. This is why you need a true head coach. Watch what happens to the 49ers for the next decade- they will be great bc they are prepared by a great head coach.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:32 pm
Worst game so far this season, another TD -___-
October 9th, 2011 at 6:32 pm
what happened to Blount?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:32 pm
I wonder if the Bucs will ever get a real head coach. Kudos to Harbaugh for knowing how to coach and how to finish off inferior teams.
The bucs are a joke. Undisciplined. Sloppy. Quitters. Just like Raheem.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:33 pm
I take it back. I love Ronde, but he’s looking a step slow. Sad to say that . Still going to his Hall of Fame induction, but would rather see Ronde as a nickel back.
Problem is, even having lost a step, he’s still our best.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:33 pm
I meant we were young and lucky. that’s yucky
October 9th, 2011 at 6:34 pm
@ Capt.Tim
We also need to draft a coach and an OC….
October 9th, 2011 at 6:34 pm
Biggers needs to go…I cant think of another corner in the league that is as consistently bad as this guy.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:34 pm
why does thomas-moron only show up when bucs are losing? lol
October 9th, 2011 at 6:35 pm
FIRE the Defensive Coordinator…
and I know who he is….
October 9th, 2011 at 6:35 pm
Get ready to be in last place, the panthers are better than the Bucs!!! This is BS
October 9th, 2011 at 6:36 pm
I am starting to lose support for Raheem too because of his buddy buddy approach. These guys are unravelling.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:37 pm
Cam is going to kill us….
October 9th, 2011 at 6:38 pm
Let the bill cowher talk begin!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:38 pm
It’s pretty sad how the Detroit Lions, who were 0-16 just 3 years ago, are now looking like a possible super bowl contender with the way they’re playing. We didn’t have nearly as bad of a situation as they did after 08′, and they’re still better than us now.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:41 pm
That punt was capitulation, look for the 49er 2nd string offense.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:42 pm
Patrick, thats my point, this team has been smoking mirrors even last year!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:42 pm
October 9th, 2011 at 6:43 pm
@Capt. Tim
October 9th, 2011 at 6:43 pm
i think i might see bush?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:44 pm
Wow…Just get on the bus guys…
October 9th, 2011 at 6:46 pm
Its coaching, folks. Look at the 49ers. Did they sign any big free agents? Nope. Their coaching staff just knows how to prepare. Raheem has NO clue.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:46 pm
@Capt. Tim
We realize it’s only one game, but even though we’re 3-2, we’ve been seeing this from the Bucs all year. Freeman’s had to bail us out every time, and people are finally starting to realize that it can’t happen every game! This team could very easily be sitting at 1-4 right now.
And I agree with everything else you said
October 9th, 2011 at 6:46 pm
if we won today, at 4-1 the national media would have hyped us up like crazy…but this blow out has set us back a pretty good amount…now the next 2 games are going to be pivotal vs the saints then bears in the uk on dictating our season….adam from ny
October 9th, 2011 at 6:46 pm
@ Patrick
You nailed it! The young coaches are a big problem too.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:47 pm
I love how they’re still throwing. Raheem got schooled today. Too bad hes too stupid to learn anything from it.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:48 pm
Ive said Morris is a douche bag of wind for a while now … You homers are finally seeing the light.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:49 pm
they just need to put this behind them….regroup and woop some saints a** next week and we will be ok….this was just a big unravelling and yes, seemingly getting out coached as well….this is just one to put in the rear view mirror asap…adam from ny
October 9th, 2011 at 6:50 pm
I don’t feel bad about losing this game. After all, it is just one game and its still early as some have suggested. What I do feel bad about is that I can no longer count Carolina as 2 sure wins!!
October 9th, 2011 at 6:51 pm
Going for it on 4th. Love it. Raheem doesn’t even do that when he’s down by 38!!!! Haha
October 9th, 2011 at 6:51 pm
No it is not 1 game….it is the end of a trend !
October 9th, 2011 at 6:51 pm
jesus, not another touchdown
October 9th, 2011 at 6:51 pm
Adam: regroup? Good one.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:52 pm
forget the game….i can live between here waist and thighs….i’m ready to set up shop there…adam from ny
October 9th, 2011 at 6:53 pm
If this were an elite team like the Patriots or Packers beating us, I wouldn’t feel that bad. But this is the 49ers people, who are NOT THAT GOOD. They’re ok, but don’t you think it’s scary that they’re about to put up 50 on us?
October 9th, 2011 at 6:53 pm
Get ready for a loss next week. Hoping not, but the Saints are…the Saints.
They scored on us again.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:57 pm
This is now officially worse that the Azz woopin Dungy took from the Guru-den in Oakland. Hope Raheems get this worked out on all sides of the ball, or he will be gone soon. They all looked like Shiza.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:57 pm
They are 4-1…how is that not good???? You are going by previous years, my friend. Every year is different. Check the ranking of their defense.
The 49ers coaches deserve all the credit here. They came in with the perfect game plan.
One thing worth noting…the fans in San Fran and hte media had written their QB off. They gave up on him. But the 49ers stuck with him. They have a better than fair chance at a trip to the Superbowl.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:57 pm
All I see is see is run” RUN TO THE BUICK”. I hate to be that way but fire everyone and go hire Jim Tressel gets some good o’oll boys in there
October 9th, 2011 at 6:57 pm
snoop:
a game like this can kill a team if they dwell in it…they lost this game almost from the get go….best to look forward…and as rah might say “next up”……they of course need to look at his game in detail, but process it quickly and move on….the next 2 weeks are really important games imho on how this season will play out….if we get waxed at home next week, this team is in big trouble going out to london…..as they will remember their last trip out to the uk where the pats ate us up like a tasty buffet….adam from ny
October 9th, 2011 at 7:00 pm
They look like a ….um how should I say.. a man not of the first to come over on the boat is running the team.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:00 pm
Sure is nice knowing that this is the 49ers largest margin of victory since 1987.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:00 pm
Go Glazer’s
October 9th, 2011 at 7:00 pm
lol
Yeah, Hood rat free, give up on the whole team because of one loss. Newsflash…5 games in and only 2 losses. That is a LOT better than I expected in the first half of the season. I expects 4-4 by mid season, and then a string of wins.
I thought Benn had some good moments today though. He’s improving from game to game. Williams though seems to be having a down second year. It’s a common occurance.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:01 pm
They should have to play in the ACC.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:03 pm
Freeman is having a REALLY bad day. That’s cool though…we grow from mistakes we make.
When the Bucs lost their first game, they learned from it and adjusted. They will this time as well.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:03 pm
What did been have 1 catch?
October 9th, 2011 at 7:04 pm
Just give it to Blount! We can maybe get a TD and run the clock out!
October 9th, 2011 at 7:04 pm
I swear rah doesn’t known the rules, or if he does he doesn’t share them with his team. This is what a team looks like when they have no head coach.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:05 pm
josh freeman is showing what he is truely about. he’s not going to get much better than this folks. he doesn’t suck, he just doesn’t have IT. he has gotten as far as he has due to his passion and his physical abilities which i commend, but that’s it.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:05 pm
@Thomas
I don’t know, but Benn has been decent this year
October 9th, 2011 at 7:07 pm
There’s a difference between “just losing” and being “completely raped” by Alex Smith and the 49ers
October 9th, 2011 at 7:08 pm
lol…I don’t think catching the punt was a mistake. I think it no longer mattered so he did it for the heck of it. They’ll play it off as a mistake though so he doesn’t get fined.
And so…I can finally go to bed. Sick today, but I always stay up for my Bucs!
GO BUCS!
(Still going 10-6 for the season)
October 9th, 2011 at 7:13 pm
Did any team in Florida win this weekend
October 9th, 2011 at 7:14 pm
October 9th, 2011 at 7:19 pm
Officially the worst loss in Buccaneers history.
October 9th, 2011 at 7:25 pm
Dumbgry…
October 9th, 2011 at 7:35 pm
It is like they KNEW exactly what we were going to do, and how to beat us.
