Espo, don’t take comments made about how the team was run for the years following the Super Bowl the wrong way. Most all of us here appreciate that we won the Super Bowl. Heck, I personally paid $2,000 for a ticket to that game to see it in person, and it was one of the greatest highlights of my LIFE. What happened after that, I’m not happy with Gruden about, and have no problem saying so. I would cheer him if they introduced him at the game, but would still argue that the team was totally devoid of talent by the time he left.
Gruden will likely go to the Ring of Honor one day. Winningest coach in Bucs history, 3 division championships, a NFC Championship, and Super Bowl victory.
Booing him is stupid. Gruden won a SB here, and gave us fans many years of entertainment. He will go into the Ring one day, but I am sure he will not stand as the winningess coach in Buc history. I believe Dungy has a higher win loss ration, but did not have as many years here as Gruden. If Morris continues on his path right now, he may pass him up. If not, once a coach that establishes winning seasons every year for several in a row, they will move into the spot. Gruden had a few horrible seasons. I love the guy anyway, and will cheer for him if they announce him.
