Price Still 65 Percent
September 25th, 2011Joe will have plenty to say about the Bucs’ entire defensive line, but Joe can’t hold back how impressed he is by Brian Price.
It just can’t be forgotten what this guy went through to get on the field this season and, per Price’s quotes more than a week ago, he earned the starting job before the Bucs-Vikings game while only playing at roughly 65 percent.
Well, Joe talked to Price after today’s game, in which Price recorded his first sack and was very disruptive behind the line of scrimmage, and Price says he’s still playing at about 65 percent.
Pressed on how that’s possible, Price said he feels his “motor getting stronger” and a little more comfortable on the field. But Price said he invests a lot of energy managing and blocking out his pain and focusing on everything but once he enters One Buc Palace or the stadium on gameday.
Joe can’t wait to see what this guy can do at full strength.

If this is 65% this guy is going to be a frickin nightmare. He broke a double team like nothin’

Price is AMAZING. The guy is a beast. Constant penetration, constant disruption. I think about what this guy will be able to do next year at 100% and I have to change my shorts.

BP was disruptive out there today but he wasn’t out there too much from what I saw… Him still playing at 65% explains it!!!!

At 65% he is twice as productive as McCoy. McCoy was a ghost today, except for a stupid penalty.

Love me some Brian Price!

McCoy was a ghost…that’s hilarious. He was constantly causing all kinds of disruption in the Atlanta backfield all game long. He had Ryan around the knees when Clayborn got his sack. He forced runs to bounce outside, find a different lane or just plain get stuffed by his teammates all day. McCoy was a beast today and anyone who doesn’t see it didn’t watch the same game.

Mccoy played very well and was constantly penetrating..good game Gerald.
Price consistently shows that awesome strength and burst….really hope the guy keeps getting healthier.

Thomas- go away you lame ass loser. No one cares.
Joe- Can you ban the troll please? He has proven he is not a fan. Just some internet loony who likes to piss us real Buc fans off. He is trolling. Chiming in after a great win and two wins in a row with nothing more than “McCoy sucks” is trolling. You do know what a troll is right? If you won’t ban an obvious troll then you are a total noob of an admin.

@beckleshater and noob to life.
boo hoo someone says something i disagree with and i must call them names and make them go away because it makes me feel not so good… wah! get over yourself and grow a thicker skin. you cant just shut someone up because you disagree with their opinion that is the action and desire of toddlers and infants. Oh and fascists.
aside from your social immaturity and internet based tempertantrums another reason your post is asinine is you are telling a successful business owner how to run his business in a way that you prefer because? because you are immature and cant handle someone having an opinion you deem to be incorrect. And just because we both agree that Thomas can be an A$$ doesnt mean that you or anyone even if everyone agrees has the right to silence somone based the fact that they disagree.
Joe has that right, since this is his ‘establisment’ per se. clearly he enjoys the character that is Thomas, and the fact that Thomas actually offers a differing opinion and more people actually visit this site merely to argue with him.
for your lack of understanding and geniune immaturity, it is you that i label with your own monicker
Noob.
maybe in terms you can understand: stop being trollbait you noob. stop feeding the troll and it dies.

Whatever our D did today, worked, and we need it again game after game, not just this one game! Keep the lineup the same, stop the stupid penalties, and stop the pass and run! We were much better on the penalties today with the exception of a few here and there, big ones, but they didn’t cost us the game like they have before. Once Free gets back into rhythm, and he will, we got the NFC South by the proverbial BALLS!!!! We have the talent and drive to take on anybody, we just don’t fully know it yet, I promise that.
