Talib Talks Football
August 2nd, 2011In a rare video interview that’s not a deposition, Aqib Talib joined Adam Kohler of Bright House Sports Network to talk all things Bucs.
Talib offers great insight as he swats at the gnats in his face at training camp.
(It figures that the sasistic cable outfit that denies its customers NFL Network would not offer embed codes.)
Joe’s glad Talib illustrates the point of new defensive line coach Keith Millard’s infectious energy. It’s good to see it’s spreading throughout the team.

Probably the most awkward/nervous interview I’ve watched. Its easy to see Talib is not comfortable in front of cameras, no wonder he never does interviews…

You beat me to it Travis, I was about to say the exact same thing.

I know this is out of thin air and all, but what does everyone think of Talib playing Wide Receiver? He has the hands for it, is fast enough and is tall enough.

This guy is crazy. He’s talented, but sweet lord, he is aggressive.

Those gnats were kicking that ass. Good stuff.
Aqib needs to stay at CB and focus on being the best CB in the league.
It’s harder to find great CB’s than it is to find average WR’s.

If Deion Sanders couldn’t become a great receiver, then I think it’s fair to say Aqib Talib can’t.

Talib did play both ways in college and he actually caught four touchdown passes his junior year.

Who are they talking about at the start of the video?

E.j. Biggers.

and when u really look at it. It was true about Biggers. when ever they went into nickel he played outside opposite of talib while rhonde went inside into the nickel slot. Biggers held his own against some pretty good recievers. ie Calvin Johnson and a few others.
