Josh Freeman On Bucs, Lockout
July 10th, 2011Doug Farrar of Yahoo! Sports catches up with Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman at some 7-on-7 camp. Freeman explains why he doesn’t compare himself to Mark Sanchez and Matthew Stafford, and he talks about what made the Bucs offense click last year and how the Bucs have handled the asinine lockout.

Staying in form, and off topic:
Congratulations to the US Women’s Soccer Team for a thrilling victory over Brazil and also beating the lousy ref in the process. For not having any football right now, that was an awesome Futbol Match.
And Go Bucs!
BigMac, C’mon, man. You know Joe hates the off-topic stuff, especially out of the gate. –Joe

What hat is that Freeman’s wearing?

Joe, I thought you were a soccer fan, only reason I posted it. Maybe I have the wrong Joe. Please accept my most humble apologies, dude.
This is “soccer” Joe, but still. No worries, dude.

Thank you very much for sharing this Joe!
Awesome video, I love stuff like this during this f*&^%ed up lockout. Its incredibly encouraging to hear how much work our guys are doing and really keeps me looking forward to football again.

BigMacAttack:
Ambivalent soccer Joe was galled you would use the first comment in a thread on a Bucs site to use about soccer.
Off topic bad enough for the first comment, but soccer???

How anyone thought Mark “I have to pay .50 for ranch” Sanchez over this guy is beyond me.
He’s the youngest of the 09 Rookie QB class and he sounds like a 10 year vet.
“Winning 10 games last year, it wasn’t your fault you didn’t make the playoffs…” – Non-competitive sports writer. I was kind of hoping Freeman jumped on that and said something like, “It’s our job to make the playoffs. We always take responsibility for not making the playoffs” i know that’s the type of competitor he is, so that’s fine with me. Love this freaking kid.

Well Joe, buddy, I was going to let it go but you…..
Obviously didn’t see the game. Those girls are incredible athletes. Their cardio conditioning is phenomenal, and I know you like hot babes. Hope Solo, the goal keeper is a complete knockout. She is gorgeous and built like an NFL player, not to mention she saved the game in a shootout. You can’t say that Hot Babes are off topic on JBF, and she is smokin. If you’d rather talk about smokin hats and the Royals, Mark Sancheez and Ranch Dressing, I’m down. I got your message though. Your the Boss, dude.

Sorry Joe, I’m just messing with you. You know your my hero, next to Josh Freeman. he isn’t the only one who wears a cape around here.
July 10th, 2011 at 7:10 pm

Doug Farrar: “Raheem was obviously a well-regarded coordinator before he became a coach…”
Um… what?
(Yeah, for about three days, I think.)
