Talib Mess Might Not Be Messy For Bucs
March 28th, 2011Of course, the word out of Dallas regarding Aqib Talib’s possible role in firing shots at some dude that repeatedly mistreated his sister is very troublesome.
It makes trying to decapitate Donald Penn with a deadly weapon seem tame.
But with the NFL locking out the players, fans and media have been led to believe that the behavior clauses in players’ contracts don’t apply during a lockout, drug tests, off-the-field issues, etc.
So barring Talib serving time for allegedly shooting at a guy, the Bucs’ season wouldn’t miss a beat where Talib is concerned.
Joe never thought he’d write this; but perhaps the lockout was a blessing.

The league need not be involved. Simply have Freeman fly to Dallas and ruffle Talib’s tailfeathers a little. As much as I love Talib for his play on the field and his hilarious voice… This is unacceptable.

Aqib Talib The Elijah Dukes of the Bucs
I guess the apple does not fall that far from the Tree.
It looks likes Aqib Talib’s football skills are getting soft…..known for his good hands…he was unable to maintain control of his gun while he was pistol whipping his sister’s boo…
Have no fear…when Aqib Talib lost possesion of his Pistol his Mama was right their to have his back and she threw her own Hand Gun “John Woo Style” to Talib…
Aqib Talib turn his Mama’s gun sidwise and emptied a clip, while yelling….”I’s Keep’s it Real”….
What the F@ck
Do the bucs not have quality control people to beat into the head of their players, they have been given the gift from god to be a pro football player and all the benefits which go with it not to screw around an act like a thug.
I can accept a player missing a season due to injury but for something like this is unacceptable.
All the more reason why we need to Draft Kyle Rudolph – we need to class up this organization.

Thanks for reposting Jo Mama, it was so awesome the first time.
If Talib fired any bullets, doesnt matter where, its over for him. Any shots fired are attempted murder!
His only hope is to prove he was shooting in the air. What a stupid fool! Whip his a$$ sure, but why bring a damn gun in this!
What is scary to me is his temper. Would he be level headed enough NOT to aim at this fool as he was running away after beating his sister? I hope so.

How did the guy see Talib firing bullets … Im doubt he stopped to turn around and look … Either way … Not good … CB just became a bigger off-season need

Troubling to say the least. What’s more troubling is the way the BUCS are seamingly nuturing this behavior.
I know that Talib hasnt been charged with anything….but lets assume that he is guilty of something in this incident involving a gun.
Dom and Rah need to make an example of Talib to show the rest of the team and the league that they will not accept this from their young team regardless of how much talent you have.
Where theres smoke theres usually fire and with Talib…there has been smoke since his college days and it has only gotten progressively worse since hes been on the BUCS.
All of a sudden the talk of signing Nhamdi doesnt sound that crazy.
I would love to get your guys thoughts out there….im sick to my stomach about this Talib issue, Im ready to throw out his jersey.

Does Joe still feel it would be such an idiotic move to sign Asomougha ??

Diary of a Wimpy Ruud:
Yes. Even without Talib, the Bucs have a solid secondary. There are other areas with dire need of help.

At least Goodell’s gestapo can’t punish him…
