The Bucs’ 2011 schedule looks quite a bit tougher than it did for 2010. Joe’s quite certain this is how Tampa Bay’s opponents will shake out later this year:
Home: Bears, Lions, Texans, Colts, Falcons, Panthers, Saints, Cowboys
Away: Packers, Vikings, Jaguars, Titans, Falcons, Panthers, Saints, 49ers
No, Joe’s not about to start spouting off opinions about games that are many months away.
However, Joe will assure his readers that he is planning an absolutely fabulous, affordable road trip to the Bucs game in Jacksonville via his partners at Paradise Worldwide Transportation.

Way too early to say, but based on the play of the Bucs this year and the play of those teams this year, I don’t see a team on that list that I don’t think we have a chance to beat.

Coach’s heads are beginning to roll and Raheem Morris is still standing Tall & Proud. Give him a big fat Raise/Extension & Coach of the Year Award. No one has done more with less. He got screwed out of a playoff birth by refs and never complained once about it.

5 of the 6 losses in 2010 were to playoff teams: Atlanta x 2, Saints, Steelers & Ravens. The only loss to a non-playoff team: DETROIT (we were robbed!!!)
In 2011 we play 6 playoff teams instead of 5!
Gonna be a tough year folks!

I think we can go 4-2 in the division, if not better. Bears at home will be nice instead of a possible Dec game there, but could get the Pack in Dec in GB. Split those games (5-3). Should win 3 of these 4 Lions, Vikings, Texans and Titans (8-4) although the Lions will be better. That leaves the Boys, Jags, Colts, and Niners. Colts will be better than this year, Cowboys will probably be improved, Jags always play us tough and another west coast trip. If we win 3 of these 4 that would be great, although I think a split is more likely. I see anywhere between 10-6 and 12-4 as a likely record.

From that schedule I would say the Bucs are looking at another 10-6 season.

We’ll probably get at least 2 Primetime games next season, based on the way the media finally picked up on us the last month of the season and with the 10 wins, it makes us kind of hard to ignore. I am sure, regardless of the outcomes of the Chi/GB and NYG/Skins games, NBC would have loved to have had the Saints/Bucs game instead of that lousy crap we were forced to watch last night.

I think that the Green Bay away game & Falcons away game may get a national audience. I seriously doubt that any home games will get national attention – especially with a 2/3 filled stadium.

For the party bus to Jax, I think you should allow BucYou to go for free, BUT he/she has to serve as a Human Pinata during the bus ride. Think how many tickets you could sell then!

I don’t think it will matter anymore who the Bucs play. They will able to beat any team on any given day. The NFL is rolling over and the smart ones will stay on top. The Patriots are at the top of the heap. I think the Steelers and Bucs will be a close second, with the Falcons and Lions close behind. The Colts need a lot of help for Peyton but few other teams peak my interest. I think the Saints, Ravens and Jets will be on a downhill slide and Carolina is the New Detroit. Cleveland will get better and the Bengals will always suck.

I agree with Army Buc, We deserve at least 2 Sunday/Monday night games and one should be a NFC South game. Especially with the rising stars we have, including our coach.
Joe, that bus trip to Jacksonville sounds tempting. My wife & I may climb aboard.

NFC South is a tough one, with Drew and Matt at the helm. But Raheem and co. can win that Division in 2011.
One thing for sure, being better than everone expected will no longer suffice.

Wonder how many games Florio picks us to win next year?He predicted only seven wins over a three year span at the start of the season.Looks like Mr. Moron will need to revise his earlier prediction.

I think I get what you are saying, but if you are better than everyone expected, wouldn’t that suffice? Exceeding expectations is always a good thing, isn’t it? I’m assuming you mean expectations are higher next year, which we all agree is the case. However, anytime you exceed expectations, that’s a good thing.
