So the Bucs finally got a laugher at just the right time. Now Team Raheem is 9-6 after clobbering another bad club.
The Bucs were smokin’ today with Josh Freeman having a career day, going 21-for-26 for 237 yards and five touchdowns. LeGarrett Blount was dominant, as were Mike Williams and Kellen Winslow rewarded for some superior route running.
The defense held very tough, and Seattle was wonderfully impotent in its passing game.
Joe is so fired up for tomorrow night. The Saints MUST lose in Atlanta for the Bucs to stay alive in the playoff hunt and play a meaningful game in January.
Joe will have so much more through the night. And please make plans to get fired up with Joe and other Bucs fans Monday night at Honey’s in Carrollwood. Joe’s buying the first 50 beers.

so if atl wins tomorrow and we beat new orleans are we in or do we need the giants to also lose next week?

The Bucs had a great day today.
The offense is amazing right about now with all the young guys.
My boy Blount is a BEAST to say the LEAST.
Hope Tampa gets the opportunity to knock OUT the Saints next week.

With an ATL win tomorrow, the Bucs are in if they beat the Saints in week 17. That would be just amazing for this team to be playing for a playoff spot in the final week of the season when all projections were for 5 wins or less, the youngest team in the NFL, with half their D starters on IR.

Thats not exactly true BamBam. The Packers also have to lose to Chicago next week along with what you said for the bucs to be in.

Actually, the Giants or Packers have to lose… forgot to check if both won. If both the Packers and Giants win next week, we’re out even if ATL wins and we beat the Saints. So, we need one loss… either Packers @home against the Bears or the Giants on the road against the Redskins.

We can actually still get the #5 seed and play the NFC West team in round 1. We’d need the Falcons to beat the Saints tomorrow. Then in week 17, the Packers and Giants BOTH have to lose, and we have to beat the Saints. We’d be #5, the Saints would then be #6. Pretty incredible to think about, but the odds are a LOT more against us on that one.

Hopefully we get Benn back for next week’s game.
I hope Atlanta is healthy and has all their star players ready for tomorrow.
I would be absolutely heartbroken if we didn’t get into the playoffs.
