So LeGarrette Blount coughs the ball up once in while like he did during a key early drive Sunday against the Seahawks.
Big deal.
The man is a truck with wings.
Good luck stopping him, New Orleans.
Blount gutted Seattle for 164 yards on 18 carries and is now leading rookies running backs with 941 yards in just 12 games.
Who could possibly decide now between Blount and Mike Williams for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year? Williams has been there all season, but Blount has had the greater impact. Brutally tough choice.
Yes, New Orleans pistol whipped the Bucs months ago in Tampa. But the Saints didn’t have No. 27 to contend with. Imagine the reality that Blount was inactive for that game. Amazing.
The Bucs will need Blount, now averaging 5.2 yards per carry, to be his very best Sunday in New Orleans to get in the playoffs.

I am pulling for him to get to 1,000 yards.
But more so, I want the Bucs to take it to the Saints more than ever. I’ll take missed FGs, INTs, lucky ladies and all against the Saints. Just one more lucky win is all we need!

And he wont get ROTW this week either, Tebow will. Yet another week the Bucs are represented, and yet another week we will lose a ROTW honor.

I couldn’t care less about the ROTW awards. It’s a popularity contest, and based on the blackouts in Tampa, they just aren’t popular enough, especially nationwide.
I’m more excited about the future potential for Pro Bowl players. With another year under their belts, we’ll have Freeman, Blount, Mike Williams, possibly Arrelious Benn, K2, GMC, Talib… all with shots at the Pro Bowl in the future. Now that’s exciting. Screw the ROTW.

The Object is a hurdling, banging, shake and bake machine.This guy is the Future of Tampa. We needed that win last week. I love the Buccaners but don’t see this defence going into New Orleans and winning next week they will have to put up 50 points to win this game. Too many weapons to deal with They had issues with Calvin Johnson and crew they are going to have to get to Brees or knock him out of the game of this is going to be an ugly game to watch. All and all this has been a great season to see some amazing young players make some spectacular plays I hope Benn is alright another tough blow Preston Parker and Briscoe came up great wow a ton of weapons
