Good, Lord did the Bucs luck out. Talk about the football gods smiling on the Bucs. Joe just can’t believe it.
The Bucs played horribly in the first half against a garbage team. Then fumbled into the end zone. Then allowed the Redskins to march the length of the field in the final minutes, coming within a single point of sending the game into overtime.
But no! A bad snap. Joe doesn’t know whether to be happy or to pull out his rosary in thanks.

We were Lucky to win this game, but hey, we will take it ! Tampa is 8 and 5 and still alive.

I think the other good thing besides us winning is the Packers losing now all we need is the Giants to lose tomorrow and we are right back in the thick of the playoff race

Call it luck all you want. I know the haters will. Those guys don’t want the Bucs to ever win another game unless its some guy with a butt where his chin should be as head coach.

And BTW the Bucs have officially clinched a non losing season after going 3-13 last year. Lets all take a moment to recognize that if the Bucs don’t win another game this season, serious progress has been made and this season is already a resounding success.

Remember that Carolina game where we lost by missing or having the extra point blocked? Anyway, kicking is part of the game. We executed, they didn’t. There were so many close calls here, everyone was lucky. Redskins dropped 2 INTS, at least one of which was a pick 6. We dropped 2 or 3 as well. A fumbled snap on the 1?! That’s pretty lucky for Washington. Blount’s fumble was killer, but we got that fumble on the kickoff.
We love to talk about coaches and game plans, but at the end of the day, the players have to execute.

Bucs beat writers were Twittering that just after he left the game. Nobody knows until the doctors check him out when he gets back to Tampa.

That was the worst game we have played all year, and we still won. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, and we were definitely lucky today. Hey Thomas, Mike Shanahan has 2 Super Bowls, do you want to replace Raheem with him? He’s established, and he can probably sell out the place (according to your philosophy that coaches sell tickets). I’ll take my chances with Raheem, thank you very much.

I hope to see us feed the ball a lot more to Benn earlier get the D thinking more and more about him then hit Williams on the double move deep. I love the end around with him. and then the smoke screen we need to do that with bot our WR when the teams play off 7+yards

Players get hurt Hope McCoy is okay but a torn Bicep takes time to heal, if so we have some depth on DL like we have not had here in some time. They will suit up and go to it…. Move Miller to McCOys spot Woods & Okam & Magee rotate. Then we look around the Practice Squads of other teams.

I used the DVR to replay the ‘extra down’ sequence. It appeared to be an extra down to me BUT…the announcers say they checked and that the first pass of that series, that the TV commentators said made it second and one, was actually a first down, making the ‘fifth down’ a phantom.
I am not totally sold but I’m sure this will get the Zapruder treatment from more obsessive fans over the next couple of days.

I don’t think the Football Gods were very high on the TD on 5’th down, so they vexed the Skins on the PAT. Rah should have challenged Benn’s catch at the 1, that looked more like a TD when he was touched down. Nice win.

watched the “5th” down and they (the refs) definitely screwed the pooch. the “gods” were watching out for our Bucs because after that travesty they had to intervene. xoxo word?

HEY when tampa threw that winning touchdown brian orapko was being held but the refs did not call it OF COURSE ITS LUCK!!
