Maybe It’s Time To Look To Next Year?
December 5th, 2010Given the fact the Bucs still can’t beat a team with a winning record and their playoff chances took a hit today, veteran columnist Gary Shelton seems to think maybe it might be time for the Bucs to start looking to next year in this St. Petersburg Times video.

Keep Olson and the offense intact.
Fire Raheem as the defensive coordinator.
Bring in a serious DC to build this defense right.
Let Raheem continue to be the “players coach, figure head”.

Wow Shelton is so depressing. We’re ONE game out of the wild card spot! There’s still hope.

The Glazer Boys arent gonna make any changes, their happy that the masses are all giddy with 7-5.
They can continue to enjoy the fruits of low payroll and cheap coaching staff.
Doubt much will happen in FA, unless some sort of floor is reinstated.
The charade marches on.

Everyone is already preparing for a lockout.

Mess around with ESPNs playoff machine…. its pretty much hopeless, at this point. Even with four wins.

I cant stand Gary Shelton’s depressing tone and rhetoric… He sucks…. He is loving the fact that the Bucs are losing right now so he can ask stat related questions!

OK, I agree with Eric, bringing in someone knew is not only cost prohibitive but it goes against the Plan.
I can’t believe there are people out there now using the refs as scapegoats. Well, actually I can because Shabby is gone and Trueblood isn’t starting. Dont go blaming Raheem for giving up 28.

Buc You…I thought you were “moving on to greener psatures” due to Joe’s new adds?
December 6th, 2010 at 9:17 am
And Buc You, brfore the game the Bucs D was ranked 15th, not too shaby. I am not sure if they will drop or not after the game, but the D only gave up 21 points, ST gave up the other 7. This is a young team, and the Falcons showed why exoperience is so imprtant. By all rights the Bucs had this one won, but their youth got the best of them and they let it slip away. They will continue to improve dispite people like you.

take a look at our game day rosters and starting lineups every week. this coaching staff has done more with less than any team that i can remember since i began watching football.
December 6th, 2010 at 9:39 am
Welcome back Eric, I hope we only hear from you this week, because that would mean the Bucs are winning. At least the low life Buc You spews his nonsense win or lose.

Me thinks Shelton forgets Tampa was not even supposed to be this good, so soon ?

Just as happy with the losing seasons they have had with the former coach… Yeah your right Eric
