I think one of the reasons Caddy had such a good 4th quarter was that Carolina was beat. The 49ers are tougher against the run and I think it will be time to see how many YAC Benn can get.
I know joe doesn’t bother with” scrubs” but did anyone notice we signed a 350lbs DT to our practice squad today? I find it interesting and think it hints that Rah might really be leaning torwards a 3-4 / 3-3-5 in the future. 350lbs nose tackles don’t really fit the old tampa two 4-3.
Well yeah they have definetly been making some moves to try to help the d line out right now…magee, woods, and worthington are proof of that….but they all fit the MO. I don’t that we have ever had a 350lbs nose tackle on our roster or practice squad. I just think its another sign that times are a changin.
Yeah I know all about worthington. He is the same exact size as mccoy. He’s not a great pass rusher, but he excels at shedding blocks and stopping the run. I like him a lot better than mcgee and I hope he gets a shot on the active roster.
What I was getting at is that worthington mccoy and mcgee are all 290-310… which is pretty typical size for the guys we have our line
Titans coach Jeff Fisher knows better than anyone he had the right go on his roster earlier in the season, but let him slip away. Fisher admitted Wednesday he regrets waiving LeGarrette Blount “every day.”
“I thought we could get him to the practice squad, get him on practice squad, knowing that when and if there was any kind of interest, we could bring him back to the active roster,” Fisher said via Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com. “That didn’t happen, but I’m very, very happy for him.”

I have to disagree with what Clayton said about Caddy – wearing out.
I like how they used Caddy last week, especially as a 3rd down out of the backfield.

Glad to know the league reviewed the Panthers complaint on Talib and basically ruled that they are a bunch of whiney pu$$ies.

I just want to point out that Reggie Bush is a receiver, not a running back (no matter what they list him at or where he lines up).
If he is a running back, he is one of the worst in the league over the course of his career.
If he is a receiver, he’s a game breaker, world changer.
He’s Wes Welker lined up in the wrong position.

@jdouble – it could be to shore up the defense this year as a stop gap on the DL.

I don’t know anything about the dude we signed today…but i love the idea of having a mountain of a man at nose tackle…even if we do stay with the 4-3

didn’t we sign Worthington like a couple weeks ago, to our practice squad?
November 17th, 2010 at 4:45 pm
Nevermind…. You’re talking about Okam…
November 17th, 2010 at 5:00 pm
Yeah Okam is the giant guy we signed today… don’t know athing about him other than he’s big
November 17th, 2010 at 6:03 pm
Where did anyone find that we signed Frank Okam? All I saw was that we signed G John Malecki to the practice squad.

Actually we cut Malecki to make room for Okam.
