Jenny Dell And The Bucs
October 21st, 2010The gorgeous Jenny Dell once again graces Joe’s site to look inside the numbers of the Rams-Bucs game. The way Jenny talks about percentages, Merlot Joe Maddon would go wild over here. Then again, who the hell wouldn’t?

“If Steven Jackson gains 4.5 yards a carry?” Isn’t that a virtual certainty? By the way, Jenny Dell, if you’re reading this, will you marry me?

She doesn’t see that happening? How on earth could Steven Jackson NOT have a 4.5 YPC average or higher? It will take a miracle for Jackson to not reach 150+ yards rushing this Sunday.
My stomach is turning just thinking about Ruud and Hayes getting ran over all day by Jackson. My only hope is that we get to see our own big back do some running over too. Here’s to Blount and Lorig in the backfield this Sunday.

Gotta love a pretty nerdy girl right?
She hit the nail on the head – Bucs secondary needs to get Bradford to make mistakes, i.e., picks.
When comparing QB’s I like the match-up in the Bucs favor.
My concern is simple – can the Bucs stop Stephen Jackson? If Jackson gouges the Bucs they the Rams won’t have to rely on Bradford to throw and if that happens not pretty.
Keys to the game:
1. If the Bucs get an early lead the Rams go to the air – advantage Bucs
2. If the Bucs can establish a running game and continue their clock control – advantage Bucs
3. If the Bucs can’t plug up the middle and allow Jackson to average 4+ ypc – advantage Rams
Since I won’t be around tomorrow – I’ll say Bucs 17 Rams 16.

Did you notice in the picture it’s Freeman vs. Jackson – NOT Freeman vs. Bradford!

Joe tends not to argue with Jenny.

I was watching the Rams vs Chargers game. They have Bradford firing off short, quick high percentage passes. Lots of slants, and stuff in the flats. He looked good. It’ll be hard to force turnovers if they don’t go deep.

I predict 24-13
Not saying who wins :p
