What a fun interview. “I’m not the worst and I’m not the best but I’m trying to get there.” You go Bowles. Going for four division titles in a row and win it all. Let the negaBucs that live in their parents’ basements suck it.
    Hope Ira feels better soon.

Get well soon over there Sage! Awesome pod today. Bowles is so much more interesting is this kind of format. I bet he’d get a few more fans if he did more stuff like this.

  3. Crickett Baker Says:

Hope every day is better, Ira. Good pod, today.

Me and the old hound enjoyed our favorite podcast last night and got to say all the great reporting coming out of Indianapolis. As a young man I was stationed at Ft. Ben Harrison in Indianapolis. 50 years ago. Hope you guys have as much fun there as I did way back then! If you guys are right about Dean and Whitehead we’re gonna need another corner for sure. Coach Bowles seems to be evolving and I think he’s going to be making more aggressive decisions on both sides of the ball and I think that is going to help us. Tykee will make a good safety. Draft Billy Bowman as a nickel who can play safety or even corner as needed. He’d be our fastest defender day one but his real strength is his play making ability. Lots of picks and knocking fumbles loose. Plays with passion I think he’d fit right in.

Dang, I just read that Bowman is projected by SI as a first round pick. If he somehow falls to our third pick he’d be a steal but we’ve got more important picks than that the first couple of picks.
