Bowles defense scheme sucks….wrong players at wrong positions. We have the players for cover 2……Move them in to the right spots….Cancy for Brooks,,,,Plan 9 for Lynch,,,,4 down D line….Bowles is a defense Bozo. Anything would be better than his schemes. We can score a lot with our offense.

BallChickadee75 is being a little too harsh. And most thinking people don’t pay attention to anything he says anyway. But even my old hound jumped down from my lap listening to this podcast. She’s got to be awful bored to do that. 🙂 And it’s got to be that she is missing Lee. So am I. Since we somehow missed the last podcast we’re going to find that and listen to it and maybe we will get it back together. Should be fun, thanks gentlemen for all you guys do.

There’s been talk here in the forum that JBF has been treading lightly on CTB. In fairness to JBF the format does not really lend itself to long-form commentary. Except for Ira’s column. Don’t think I have read much criticism from Ira regarding Bowles. Hmm.
There’s been a load of criticism of Bowles and his defense. Joe and Ira steadily set benchmarks for Bowles’ performance to come back next season on the podcast. It’s a new season after a 10-7 season. The head coach is coming back. He did some good things. If Joe saw an avenue for a surefire better head coach for the 2025 season, then Joe would have lobbied for that. Simple as that. There’s no treading lightly. Treading honestly, sure.–Joe.
