Report: Liam Coen Will Stay With Bucs

January 22nd, 2025

Staying put.

Yup. Team Glazer jumped off the top rope Randy “Macho Man” Savage style with a checkbook.

With Elizabeth smiling from his corner.

Per NFL uber insider Adam Schefter of BSPN, Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen, who was to have interviewed today for the second time this coaching cycle to run the Jags, has removed his name from consideration with Jags owner Shad Khan and decided to stick around Tampa Bay and run the Bucs offense.

With a new contract in hand.

@AdamSchefter: Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen is taking himself out of the running for the Jaguars’ head coaching job to stay in Tampa on a new contract that now will place him amongst the highest-paid coordinators in the NFL, per sources. Bucs are keeping their OC.

Celebrate! Celebrate, Bucs fans. Blow off work. Head to your local Hooters. Do shots. This is incredible news. Team Glazer stepped to the plate and blasted a pitch over the left field wall.

This may be better than a playoff win. It’s that big in Joe’s eyes. Coen took a middling Bucs offense with a horrible ground game and turned it into one of the best offenses in Bucs history.

Joe sincerely believes the Bucs will even have a better offense  this year in 2025 because the team will have a full season under its belt with Coen.

This is a great day in Bucs history. Props to Team Glazer for stepping up and getting the job done.

  3. Bucsfan1988 Says:

    Saw the information on X.

Adam Schefter is reporting that Coen Signed a new contract, making it in one of the highest paid Offensive coordinators in the NFL.

    SMART MOVE Glazers!!’

I’m like 90% sure the Jaguars were going to hire him.

  4. OHBucFan Says:

Now Joe can drink because he’s happy. That’s a much better reason to reach for the bourbon.
Cheers and cheers to the Bucs for getting it done.

  5. JimBobBuc Says:

Fingers crossed! Liam is making a great choice to stay here. A much better chance to make the playoffs, and maybe the SB, with Bake and Licht in the NFC South, than in Jax with Lawrence in a tough division.

  6. Another J Says:

That’s one wise move by the Bucs!
It was worth every penny to keep Liam here in Tampa Bay!

  7. Baker Bowl Says:

What a day, I think, and this is wishful thinking, there should be a clause almost guaranteeing him a promotion in the near future.

  8. Farmer Says:

    Thank GOD!

  9. JimBobBuc Says:

I need to go find some Pappy to celebrate!

Joe, where are we meeting for Coen’s signing party?

  10. Guadalajara Mexico Fan Says:

    yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss !!!!

  11. Evo Says:

    YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSS

  12. Tbbucs3 Says:

Good for Baker, Now he finally gets to study the same playbook in the off-season

  13. First Name Greatest Says:

Hopefully it was a pay cut for Todd and an increase for Liam

  14. SB~LV Says:

    👏👏👏👏👏👏

  15. Durango 95 Says:

    Does this mean that operation

    Secure Coen 2025

    was a success?

  16. Tbbucs3 Says:

“Hopefully it was a pay cut for Todd and an increase for Liam”

Apparently, some bozos don’t realize that if it wasn’t for Todd Bowles, Liam Cohen wouldn’t be here.

  17. UGotRobbed Says:

    Happy days!! 😊 Go Bucs!

  18. Couch Fan Says:

Great to have you back. Though I’m wondering why he interviewed in the 1st place. Was this a decision all about money or was there something else promised?

  19. Paratrooper Buc Says:

    LFG!!!

Bucs made the smart move to keep him. Bowles shouldn’t be fired but this coming year is his to get over the hump of barely getting into playoffs with the last game and help from losing teams. I want the Bowles to succeed so the Bucs succeed but this is the year to put up or shut up. Defense will be the focus in draft and FA. Go Bucs!

  20. Mark Says:

Good job, Glazers and Jason Licht!

  21. bucnjim Says:

Money and a guaranteed future head coaching job=Staying here in Tampa. Good job to everyone involved.

  22. Durango 95 Says:

Glazer family steps up big time. Proving again what an awesome ownership group Buccaneers fans have. Much appreciated.

  23. Lord Cornelius Says:

    Amazing!!! Best news! LFG

  24. Cybetsecurity_intern Says:

Yeah yeah. Fire Bowles and let him take the fans that are happy with mediocrity with him. Like Tbbuc3

  25. StormyInFl Says:

Cool. Hopefully there was a Wink/nod succession agreement to go with this as well. Bowles has one more year – then he can follow Arians into ‘consultancy’.

  26. Keith Says:

Now they can concentrate on improving the defense.

  27. Chris K Says:

    Wooooooooo!

  28. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Best thing that could happen. Coen at this point in his career make a better offensive coordinator than a head coach. Now we need Bowles to hire a defensive coordinator so he can focus on clock management. A new and refreshing defensive scheme is badly needed.

  29. lambchop Says:

This is great news. I had no doubt that the Glazers and front office would be on the same page in getting him inked. Any one with the slightest eye sight could see the night and day difference in the running game and overall play calling. Liam will get even better now that he has mostly the same pieces to work with on offense. Continuity goes both ways.

  30. Andy Says:

I thought he would be gone this morning. Great move by the bucs.

  31. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

    AMAZING! Also, two scenarios:

1 – Congratulations Todd Bowles, Superbowl Champion Head Coach

    or

2 – Congratulations Liam Coen, new Head Coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  32. Joseph C Simmons Says:

    YES YES YES!!!!!

  33. Brian in St Pete Says:

Coen back, Godwin assumedly back, guys like Bucky, JMac, Barton, and perhaps Klein with a full offseason with NFL training…..This offense has the potential to be an all time great next season. If Bowles can even provide an AVERAGE defense come next season this team is a legit contender.

  34. Derek Says:

    Holy crap!

  35. Joe Says:

Now Joe can drink because he’s happy. That’s a much better reason to reach for the bourbon.

    Amen!

  36. T. Says:

    Well that made my day!

  37. Shane247 Says:

Yes! Now go hire a DC!

  38. David Says:

This is awesome!!!! Baker deserves this!

  39. Chris Says:

    LFG!!!!!

  40. JBuc Says:

    Great move! GO BUCS!!

  41. Bodacious Bubbie Says:

OMG!!!! Let me just repeat how much I LOVE our owners!!! Welcome home, Liam! We can a ll start to breathe again and at my age, that’s a wonderful thing! GO BUCS! THANK YOU, Team Glazer!!

  42. Cobraboy Says:

Dude just became a Bucs legend!

Mayfield us prolly planting a Buc war flag at the 50 in RayJay…

Continuity is critical. Now time to focus on the D and find a way to get Godwin healthy & signed.

  43. Marine Buc Says:

Awesome – Baker finally won’t have to learn an entire new offense for the first time in 5 years…

    LFG!

  44. Tye Says:

    Great news!

The Bucs will have a coach at the top of his position…
Now IF the Bucs can get a quality Defensive coach, The Bucs could be good 2025 and Bowels do what he does best, take credit for others much better than him..

  45. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Mark Says:

Good job, Glazers and Jason Licht!

Lmao. Comical how this fan base will never give any credit to the HEAD coach.

Some of y’all need a reminder of what this team used to be in the lost decade and Todd Bowles is now leading a respectable franchise.

  46. JimBobBuc Says:

A smart move by Liam and the Glazers!

I don’t hear much about Coen’s staff here, but I imagine that they were very important in this year’s success. I hope some of the Glazer’s financial recognition gets to those coaches as well! LFG!

  47. Baker Bowl Says:

Some of y’all need a reminder of what this team used to be in the lost decade and Todd Bowles is now leading a respectable franchise.

Huh? He may be the HC but he’s not fit to be an elementary school line leader, let alone leading an NFL team.

  48. dbbuc711 Says:

Great news. Liam now had a years experience with these players and the off-season to make changes to his playbook to take advantage better of their strengths

  49. Couch Fan Says:

The Bucs could be good 2025 and Bowels do what he does best, take credit for others much better than him..
    ———-

    LMAO. Coat tail riding Bowles.

  50. Buc4evr Says:

I had feeling the Glazers were going to back up the money truck in Liam’s driveway. This is great news!! Now Jason get to work on the defense and get us some edge rushers, shut down corners, fast LBs that can cover and tackle and a real DC.

  51. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Baker Bowl

Sorry, I don’t listen to comments from Oklahoma Sooners fans who only became Bucs fans less than 2 years ago.

  52. Cassie Says:

Be it Shad or Tony, nobody wants to work for the Kahns

  53. Jjuice32 Says:

Your new head coach in 2026 LFG!!!

  54. Idroolpewter&red Says:

Cheers to the Glazers! Great move!

  55. Dan b Says:

Yay. He will then be our HC next year

  56. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

The clowns who said that Coen has nothing to do with Baker’s career year been drinking too much of their fanboiade. Coen’s coaching and schemes brought Baker’s skill set to a different level. They cried about the coaching in Cleveland so now he has much better and look at him now. Only Arians was able to come close to the offensive out out Coen gave us and still not even close because he couldn’t get a good run game going. This is the best news since Mike got his 1000 and we won the South. We fix the defense I do see Baker getting us in the Big Game

  57. LUVMYBUCS Says:

Congratulations to Liam Coen and his family! Here’s hoping the Bucs can retain the rest of the offensive staff to build on the momentum and continue the progress.

  58. Bucs Fan Since '76 Says:

I would not be surprised if the Glazers intel told them Coen was Jags top pick and that prompted them to do a deal. I would also guess that they will name him AHC, and might even have promised him the HC job when Bowles retires. Finally, I bet there are serious talks going on with Todd re: bring in a DC. Thoughts?

  59. BUC CHEEKS Says:

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH YEEEEEEEEAHHH!!!!!!!!!

  60. Jeff Says:

Coen was crazy not to take the job! So glad he balked!

  61. Baker Bowl Says:

Sorry, I don’t listen to comments from Oklahoma Sooners fans who only became Bucs fans less than 2 years ago.

Don’t associate me with Oklahoma. That entire institution could be buried and I wouldn’t care (I viscerally hate Dillon Gabriel). Bucs fan since my inception into the world. Todd Bowles is not a leader of men. Which way did Daniels scramble? His left, no our left, no his right our left, his left.

  62. Davenport Says:

I’m actually surprised. Obviously Coen is the HC in waiting. Now Bowles needs to be pushed to hire a DC

  63. Panhandle Buc Says:

First we get Snowmageddon and now this?! What a time to be alive!!

  64. darengibo Says:

NOW hire a DC to get our defense firing on all cylinders!

  65. Outrigger Says:

Now maybe the Glazers can hire a full time time management coach for Bowles.

  66. Jw94buc Says:

A first time play caller and his first year nailed it out of the park. The scary thing is he is only going to become better over time! Keep the Offense maybe add one or two pieces. But we all want a defense focused offseason. Follow the eagles motto. Throw first round draft picks at D linemen every year. When one goes down another first rounder takes his place lol 😂

  67. sue moore Says:

    THANK YOU GLAZERS

THANK YOu, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK you

    WE love you!

  68. Chuck Says:

Any chance the O-line and receivers coach also get a little bit of a bump too?

  69. sue moore Says:

    GET A DC!

  70. Tom M Sumner Says:

    Totally!!

  71. Jody Says:

    Hell yeah

  72. BucVoyager Says:

The only feeling that tops what I’m feeling right now is when Evans tied the record with Rice. Stability on offense is a huge deal.

Sucks for the Jags because he was the right choice for them, but ultimately I’m a Bucs fan.

  73. BucU Says:

So we’re gonna have the same OC for the first time in a few years. That has to help with continuity and execution for these players. Very happy for them not having to learn another new offense.

  74. DBS Says:

Good he is back. But now 2 coaches have removed their names from the Jags. How much does it have to do with the GM in Jacksonville?

  75. Eckwood Says:

I hope there is a new addendum to Todd’s contract , All clock management is handled by Cohen or someone specific other than Todd ( he’s the worst in the NFL ). Can’t Have It !!

Kudos Team Glazer for stepping up Again !!!!

  76. heyjude Says:

    Awesome news!

We are so lucky to be Buc fans! Excellent organization.

  77. Blows sux Says:

Now we just need to hire a DC

  78. El HEFE Says:

He was shopping around and l and got a price that the Glazer’s could match almost what they do with all of their free agents. They’ll let them shop around a little bit then they match the number or let them go, but they wasn’t gonna let Coen go.

  79. Jmarkbuc Says:

Robert Saleh for DC would be some very sweet icing on this cake.

His defenses play like real defense’s. They cover and they hit.

  80. Bartow Buc Says:

I assume this means Coach Bowles got a lay increase as well ??

    Go Bucs 2025

  81. Aqualung Says:

Outstanding. Something so obvious to most of us real fans was also obvious to the Glazers and Jason.

Now — the Defensive Coordinator role, and the Quality Control coordinator role.

    Next.

  82. Pops Malone Says:

Thank you Bucs organization!!!! Go Bucs! Yahoo!!!

  83. Bartow Buc Says:

    Meant to say pay increase

  84. Tucker Says:

Heck yeah guys, now fix this dang defense and the bucs are gonna be a monster of a team next season.

  85. pelbuc Says:

Now fire the DB and LB coaches and get Bowles an assistant DC and all is well with the world.

  86. Costa Rica John Says:

    ❤️❤️❤️

  87. MadMax Says:

    Awesome!

  88. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @TBBucs3

“Hopefully it was a pay cut for Todd and an increase for Liam”

Apparently, some bozos don’t realize that if it wasn’t for Todd Bowles, Liam Cohen wouldn’t be here.

Yep TB! I get hyperbole it’s a freaking sports blog. Sports fans thrive on hyperbole! But when it’s just hyperbolically NASTY AND MEAN SPIRITED count me out. So we questioned Todd’s job existing only because he’s black and now we’re hoping he gets a pay cut? Really?

WTF has Todd done to you guys so personally, Has the dude been sleeping around with your wives. What could prompt you to make such personal nasty comments?

  89. orlbucfan Says:

My god, STABILITY for the first time in 3 years in the coaching ranks!! Be still, my beating heart. Hopefully, this is a good sign that CG14 will try another season and not retire. LVD will hang around another year. I said Bucs would be scary next season. Go do your thing, Licht and Bowles!! Now, where exactly are the Bucs at re: salary cap?

  90. Oneilbuc Says:

    Robert Salhes as DC !!

  91. rrsrq Says:

If CG14 returns, this offense will be the best ever

  92. D-ManTX Says:

Huzzah!!! Way to go Glazers and Coen! Looking forward to Baker getting to play in the same offense two years in a row. I predict Baker will have another career year next season. If we can just improve the defense, we should go far next post season.

  93. Todd Says:

Strong substantiated rumor that Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans agreed to pay cuts to help fund the increased pay required to keep Liam with the Bucs! *

    Teamwork!!!

(* I can personally substantiate the rumor because I just started it.)

  94. BucsFanSince1996 Says:

This will be the most important off-season move made by this team!

If Licht has another quality draft like he had last season the Bucs can be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. I expect we’ll be more of a player in free agency as well.

  95. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

I guess I haven’t been reading enough posts because I don’t ever remember anyone saying Liam had NOTHING to do with Bakers success like big buc99 says someone did. What’s new though. You would have to be crazy to think that the OC has no effect. For one thing Liam has allowed Baker to read the defense, which has been said Baker can’t do, and change the play at the line and what was the result of that? 3rd best offense in the league. Liam knows how to use Bakers talent and get the most out of him. Which is the mark of a great OC. Now that Baker & Liam can spend year 2 together LOOK OUT next year because the offense will be better than 2024 was!!!

  96. Todd Says:

    Valid points Daveyboy!

  97. Aj Says:

    ahhh, the right move!
    blessings

  98. Canabuc Says:

Perfect this is the ideal scenario. I bet they told him that he will be our head coach in waiting. If Todd Bowles does not progress as head coach this year by improving our defence and getting us further in the playoffs, then I see them making arrangements for him to either be fired or to retire voluntarily and promote Liam Cohen to head coach. Presumably with his pay raise, they have also said that as soon as bowls has stepped down, he would be the first in line to take over the head coaching job.

  99. Bucsfan Says:

Good draft won’t fix the edge rush problem. Signing Sweat,Lawrence, or Mack will-SO FREAKING sign an edge-Giddyup!!!!!!!!!

  100. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

Hey bigbuc99 are you now saying Faker can take an NFL team to a superbowl as an average quarterback?? Have you actually changed your mind on Faker. Or should I call him Baker now??

  101. stpetebucsfan Says:

    Daveyboy

“You would have to be crazy to think that the OC has no effect.”

Great point. I’m not sure who has said that but some have asked for a little balance and perspective. Some remember the debate about Canales reviving Bakers career, others including me think that’s backwards, Baker got Canales a HC gig.

Liam and Baker have a symbiotic (a mutually beneficial relationship between different people or groups) relationship.

This was not about the $$$ but rather a VERY smart guy, Liam, realizing where the REAL opportunity lies. Again..the Bucs offense is LOADED and is now even acquiring some depth. JL fixes the D this off season as well as he did the O last year and the Bucs are contenders! As a man once said, “It’s as simple as that.”

  102. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

This IS a GREAT day for the team!!!

  103. Defense Rules Says:

Couch Fan … ‘Was this a decision all about money or was there something else promised?’

I remember writing when all this started … “I still see Liam as our “HC-in-waiting’ (and yes, Todd’s current contract runs through 2026 … IF he opts to stay that long). I also believe that the Bucs will raise Liam’s salary for next year sufficiently to keep him happy and keep him here (a little ‘Thank You’ for a job well-done in 2024?).”

Bucs are in a position to improve our roster sufficiently to make a Super Bowl run in 2025 AND 2026. Yes it’ll take some smart personnel moves, but we’ve been on a roll the last 2-3 years in that respect so I expect that’ll continue. Bucs have a tough 2025 schedule, but if we can get BOTH our offense AND defense ranking in the Top-8 teams we can compete with anyone.

  104. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

Now with the right moves on the defensive side of the ball this team could really be DOMINANT in 2025!!!

  105. unbelievable Says:

    Great news!

Now stop being stupid and get Rachaad White involved in the game plans again!

  106. Jeffs grandpa Says:

But but but Rick Stroud said his source told him he was gone strouds wrong again imagine that

  107. BuckyBuc Says:

GOD IS GREAT! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO BUCS

  108. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

I think the Glazers want another superbowl and can smell one with this group!!!

  109. Xristos Says:

Some good news. At least we re not gonna be mad and angry all of the offseason.
I mean we will be a little cranky for sure but it is what it is.
    Go Bucs

  110. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Great news and further proof the Glazers are fine owners! I believe Coen will be promoted following the 2025-26 season and be our Head Coach for many years to come.

  111. BallHawk75 Says:

This may be better than a playoff win – Joe

Only on a Bowles led team would someone say this.

    Make it make sense.

  112. stpetebucsfan Says:

    D.R.

I read about your sabbatical and assumed it was getting all your health info straightened out. But I, like you took a couple of months off for precisely the same reason. Having totally given up on politics frees me to vent a little here.lol

One of the major reasons I enjoy your posts is they are clearly an attempt at some objectivity with as much optimism as that objectivity allows.

Many here do not care about “objectivity” and are certainly in the group of cynics. Cynicism is closely related to all kinds of bad outcomes.

I’m a “doubting Thomas” kind of skeptic but once I’ve stuck my hands in the wound metaphorically I’m good to go. I never ASSUME anything good or bad.

BTW I totally agree if JL can do for the D this off season as he did for the O last year the Bucs are truly contenders and not just to make the playoffs.

  113. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

Kudos to the Glazers for spending their loot to keep the band together and giving the majority of fans what they were asking for.

  114. Deuceswild78 Says:

Thank the lord Coen isn’t going to the rotting corpse of a team in jax

  115. Simeon4HOF Says:

Coen like I got Bucky and I ain’t leaving this Oline. And I Got Money!

  116. Redbaron Says:

Great! Now go get a damned defensive coordinator!

  117. Joe D. Says:

This should also keep this franchise running like a well oiled machine for years to come should Coen stick around for a couple of years, 61 year old Todd Bowles said he only had a couple of more years of coaching left in him, so seemingly this is the perfect succession plan in place too.

  118. Buddha Says:

Well I do know one play Baker wish he had changed. Just sayin:-)

  119. VOT Says:

    Amen! Prayers answered!!!

  120. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Great news!
I’m betting that there was a handshake agreement to be promoted to HC after Todd produced another middling season.

  121. Pickgrin Says:

That’s MISS Elizabeth to you Joe….

    Awesome news!

  122. RVATom Says:

Awesome! Best O I’ve seen from the Bucs hands down.

  123. GoneGator Says:

The return of the Ginger Messiah. Hallelujah . At least the old ladies will have someone they can pledge their alliance to for another year.

  124. RodMunchlikesBonelesswings Says:

How many times in Baker’s career has he had the same OC for 2 consecutive years? Maybe once? This will pay dividends for Baker and the offense as a whole. It’s going to be scary next season.

  125. Bucamania Says:

    HUUUUGE!!

  126. GoneGator Says:

Woohoo. Maybe we can reach the playoffs now. Maybe even for a few years in a row. Oh wait 🤣

I’m glad Liam’s staying but it’s simply not going to change the dynamic around here.

Unfortunately the same crew will cry Todd should be fired on every post but at least we won’t have grown men begging Red not to leave them in comments section of every article

  127. tgoodwin Says:

VERY KOOL! Coen only called a coupla BAD games last year, the Cowboys game, and that, ‘dont let your offense blast em with dynamite plays’ playoff game

    COEN N BAKER N OFFENSE=EVEN BETTER YEAR!!!!!

JUST BWELIEVE DEFENSE WILL GET BETTER 2!!!!
    (IN SPITE OF BOWLES)

  128. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Called it.

  129. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Joe, Elizabeth was murdered.

  130. WestCoastBucsFan Says:

Great news! Happy to get some continuity and opportunities for real growth. Also removes a big question mark that would’ve hung over the front office’s head this off season so they can instead focus on improving the defense. Go Bucs!

  131. Cometowin2 Says:

Thank you Glazers! This was one of the best decisions this franchise has ever made. Well done!

Now get Robert Saleh for DC and let Todd concentrate on being the head coach!

  132. Bobby M. Says:

Coen made White look capable at RB…..that alone is pretty impressive but nearly everyone had career years. Godwin was on pace for one, Otton looked his best ever, Evans got his 1,000 yds for the 11th straight time, Irving rushed for 1,000 yds….even our back up LG earned himself a new contract in this offense.

That’s top tier coaching when you elevate an entire unit to their best. If only Bowles could offer the same on defense…..

  133. Surfcat Buc Says:

Good news on Liam staying!! Did Spytek get poached by Raiders? Thought I just saw.

  134. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

  135. JReel Buc Says:

This move deserves a Yassss! Thank God !! They aren’t dumb somebody with common sense is running the show I always a bucs fan but I just became a fan of the front office

  136. Tom in Mad City Says:

In my opinion, the Bucs just won the offseason. Thank you Team Goazer, he best ownership group in he NFL! Thank you Hason licht. Thank you Todd Bowles.

Now Todd, we need you to step up. You’ve done a good job winning three straight NFC South titles, but it’s time to advance. We need better clock management, better in-game decisions, a pass rush from the edge and more linebacker depth.

    Excited for 2025!

  137. Biggun Says:

Kalil Mac go get him and get the checkbook out again. I knew Coen would stay Boss needed sweeten the pot! GO BUCS!

  138. OrlandoBucFan Says:

Awesome news!!! Now let’s get to work improving the defense. I feel like we are entering our window to be competitive for a Super Bowl.

  139. Scotty Mack Says:

Great news, for sure. Last year’s draft was almost 100% offense and it made a huge difference (along with Coen and company). The defense is obviously going to be the priority in the offseason and the draft this offseason.

The problem, as I see it, is Bowles’ defense is apparently so difficult to learn, I’m not sure an influx of new talent, be it free agents or rookies, is going to make a huge impact next year – at least not until the last quarter of the season.

Hopefully, the offense can keep the record afloat so that by the time the newcomers finally “get it,” the team is rolling strong into the postseason.

I only wish Bowles would consider playing more press coverage. Every game this year when the defense sucked in the first half, they came out in press coverage in the second half and shut down the other team (until the last and crucial possession, when they returned to their soft zone coverage, resulting in a game winning drive for the bad guys).

Amazing work and a smart move by the Glazers.

Now let’s go get us a good DC. Robert Saleh, maybe?

This the biggest issue this off-season couldn’t have a better ending for theBucs. The owners don’t get enough credit here as being great owners. But you gotta just love the culture the organization has a whole right now. They’re really doing all the right things.

    Thank you Glazers. Well DONE!

I mean think about it… every year the Bucs are terrible at running, 3.6 , then Coen comes and we gain a full yard avg? (2 for Bucky)!

reminds me of when the Bucs could NOT STOP THE RUN up till 2019 then we got Todd Bowles as our DC and now the Bucs lead the league in lowest run yards against.

Take that Bowles haters. then think about it.
