I actually think it would be such a fun run he’d come back. He’s playing great, still has the speed, is ultra productive, I think if the Bucs give him a proper offer he’ll be back again. But I’ll take winning a SB and riding off into the sunset as well.

I don’t mind Collinsworth actually, but Gene is the GOAT. A couple of years ago I was worried Deckeroff might finally be slipping a bit, but after he stopped doing FSU games, he seems to have gotten a second wind. I think his age was catching up with him a bit, but reducing his workload really paid off in quality.

You wanna know what bad first half/great 2nd half comes from? Coaching. It’s what happens when coaches figure out the other team in the first half and coach their players to come out in the second half to win based on exactly what they’re seeing on GAME DAY versus tape that can change game to game.
For all the idiots on this site run the coaches down every single game, the Bucs keep coming out in the 2nd half and killing it, because they have coaches who can do that. Not every team does, and it shows at the END of the game, not the end of the first half.

@Buccaneer Bonzai–any tips on stepping back to be able to enjoy a game w/out the stress play by play? I teach my kids that things come and go, you win some, you lose some, but in the moment my heart rate definitely goes up watching these games. I’ll be fine tomorrow however it goes, but I’d like to enjoy the game in the moment a little less invested in every play as you put it.

This team really never deserved to be in the playoffs. Only the incompetence of the Falcons let this happen. Everybody on this board knew this defense could not win a game. So every single close game is 100 percent on baker. And he succeeds a lot but fumbled when it all mattered.

You can just as easily blame the center for snapping early on 4th and 1.
