Jamel Dean And Antoine Winfield, Jr. Will Play

Injury updates
Head coach Todd Bowles today said his two most expensive guns in the Bucs’ defensive backfield will play Sunday night.
Safety Antoine Winfield, Jr. will return from his bad knee that cost him the past four games. Winfield did not go on injured reserve and resumed practicing full-go this week.
Starting cornerback Jamel Dean is also good to go after a knee issue that cost him an early exit from the Bucs-Panthers game in Week 17 and a missed game Sunday. Second-year cornerback Josh Hayes filled in.
Hayes was better than usual, but Joe is every happy to hear Dean and his load of experience will be back on the field against the Commanders this weekend.
The Bucs’ secondary needs all the help it can get.
Regarding No. 1 tight end Cade Otton and his knee injury, Bowles was unsure about Sunday. “Cade is trending the right way – we’ll see how he recovers,” he said.

Great news. All hands on deck.
A takeaway or 2 would go a long way towards getting us this 1st round win. I think we’re the only team with a negative turnover margin in the playoffs.
Be friggin incredible if the pass rush could have a breakout game. I think Vita, Kancey, Yaya and company are primed, and due for a big game. 🤞🏼

But despite bucsalltheways ignorance and my possibility of getting moderated I will go ahead and post about the beauty of getting half of our secondary back! I know there are a lot of Dean “haters” out there but when the dude is healthy he is a starter in this league. I’m hoping getting Winfield back means he is 100% and is back his normal self. Getting these studs back with Smith back there as well makes me feel much better about the matchup. In reality we just need to bottle up Daniels and force him to beat us with his arm.

Bowles has everyone 87 yards off the ball every play every week, “dont give up big play” no just let every team work it down the field 7-12 yards a pass….HE NEEDS TO ADJUST HIS PLAN, just because he couldn’t cover anyone in his playing days….mix it up

We’ll need them both. The Foreskins are not the same team we faced week 1 Daniels got some time under his belt, but the same for us our rookies are far better as well this should be a nail bitter of a game. GO BUCS!!!!
