So glad the podcast dropped on my way home!

The degree of consistency a team plays with is a direct result of the coaching it gets during the week. Relentless repetition of the same thing. But also, intolerance of mental errors. Pre snap penalties and blown assignments. BA had an “error sheet.” As he said, if you show up on that sheet more than rarely, then either you don’t care or you’re too stupid, and either way, the team has no use for you if that’s the case.

Marty Schottenheimer died in 2021, I don’t think he’d make a great consultant.
The reference was for Marty to consult for Raheem, not current. Mark Dominik worked in Schottenheimer regime before coming to Bucs.–Joe

Great podcast, Gents! You all have awesome chemistry.

What a win, I am thinking the Buccaneers are going to scheme up some running heavy sets this week to control the ball. And for the love of good football, let’s see the defense run the Mahomes script in 2020.

We need to stop the run without selling out the secondary to cheap, easy passes. Go Bucs!

    Thank you.

  6. BA’s Red Pen Says:

Oh my mistake I misunderstood, but if Schotty was a consultant during the Morris-Dominik era (error) then I was half right at least.

  7. Jethro Tull Says:

Let’s use the second half defense in the first half. If Coach “doesn’t know why” he’s not a head coach or defensive coordinator.

    Great podcast!

Such an enjoyable time to be a Bucs fan. So happy for Mike. I think too that Mike’s record was on all their minds. This team definitely has a strong bond.

Baker is a hustler, for sure. McMillan, Yaya, Zyon, Vea, McLaughlin, and others did very well too.
