You think Mike Evans hasn’t made a difference in this Bucs offense?
When Evans got hurt against Baltimore and missed the next three games, the Bucs went into a rut that nearly crippled their season.
Since Evans returned against the Giants, the Bucs are 4-1. And more importantly, Baker Mayfield’s numbers improved, as well.
Per Rich Hribar of Sharp Football Analysis, Mayfield, since Evans returned against the Giants after the bye, leads the NFL in average yards per pass attempt (8.7 yards).
Joe’s not a big believer in coincidences in the game of football.
So it looks to Joe that if the Bucs want to make the playoffs, or even win a game or two in the playoffs (provided they get help to get there), one key goals is for Evans to stay healthy.

Mike is truly the heart and soul of the Bucs. All the QBs have known that too, as well as JM at A&M. Baker and Mike are the dynamic duo.

The Bucs are so lucky to have Evans!!!. He has been incderible both on andoff the field. Let’s hope he gets his 1000. yards this year.

before injury Godwin was a top 5 receiver in the NFL, having Godwin and Evans on the field at same time makes the Bucs a much stronger team. Godwin was leading Evans in almost every category.

Both Evans and Godwin are the polar opposite of divas. Sure, they want to put up big numbers, but they keep it to themselves. They and many others on the team, Wirfs, Otton, Winfield, David ….. are very principled and selfless humans, as well as good football players. I love this team!
