The Cowboys ended the game on a Bucs’ fumble – yet turnovers are “overrated”
LOL

Ira, the Drunks at the bar know that was a bad timeout, of all the things to defend….. that timeout ain’t it.

Daniels and the Commanders turned the ball over five times while beating the mighty Eagles Sunday afternoon. 3 interceptions. I’m not defending turning the ball over. But our Joe is correct that points win football games. I’m surprised you guys didn’t discuss how no Otten affected our offense. Looked to me like it downgraded our pass protection as much as our pass production. And we lost the field position battle. And the Cowboys played lights out. But if we were as good as I thought we were we wouldn’t have let controlling our destiny slip away. On a positive note we have room for improvement and me and my hound enjoyed listening to another great podcast.

Sorry Mike C but first priority there was scoring a touchdown. And I thought our offense needed to calm down so I was fine with the timeout. And McCarty would have called a timeout anyway if we hadn’t. Bottom line is we didn’t deserve to win if we can’t stop them the 3 points before the half. We didn’t deserve to win if we can’t protect the football. And we certainly didn’t deserve to win when they came out and played a more physical game than we were playing.

Exactly what I was thinking Alanbucsfan. In addition, what about that touchdown/interception by/from McMillan? Let’s not forget what happened during the playoff game against Detroit last year. Yes, points matter. Turnovers matter. Sacks matter.
Just as many Bucs fans will be watching the Falcons-Commanders as the game against the Stinkin’ Panthers. Washington now has some film on Penix, and they will want to win. The Bucs just have to take care of business against two division rivals who will be motivated to take the Bucs out of contention. Let’s just hope that the Panthers don’t go out and sign Derek Anderson. The last game versus the Saints will be their Superbowl.

Sorry Kenton Smith, you don’t call that time out and the cowboys have to use one, then they don’t score 3….. NOT the first time Todd has cost us points with a bad timeout. WHY is it hard for some people to see that this was a obvious mistake??? Tony Freaking Dungy called him out…… like what else do you need???
