Split Chargers-Bucs Picks At JoeBucsFan.com World Headquarters

December 14th, 2024

Thankfully, the Zephyrhills water delivery guy Friday at JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters broke up the near fistfight that broke out.

Lots of arguing this week about Sunday’s Bucs-Chargers game between Ira Kaufman, Joe, the other Joe and the team of Gen Z interns.

Kaufman declared a Bucs victory in Los Angeles.

“I don’t care that they’re going cross country,” Kaufman said of Tampa Bay. “Mike Evans has to step up this week. He’s feeling good. Get him the ball. … And take a couple of shots downfield, Mr. Coen. Will you do it?

“… The Charger offense does not scare me, so that removes the biggest concern about the Bucs, which is their defense. … I’m going with the Bucs, 20-16.”

Joe stepped up and picked the Bucs to win 24-21 with a late field goal. All those tough losses and experience in close games will make a difference for the Bucs and “finally pays off,” Joe said, and expect the loss of running back J.K. Dobbins to be a killer for the L.A. offense.

However, the “other Joe” was having none of that noise because the Bucs’ pass defense is terribly decimated and was struggling before all their new injuries.

Look for a solid Chargers win 21-17, “other Joe” said, claiming the Bucs’ winning streak ends now facing a high-quality quarterback and question marks surrouding Bucky Irving’s hip/back issue, the Bucs’ fill-in safeties and Baker Mayfield’s healing leg.

Tomorrow, Joe will run the usual gameday poll asking Bucs fans who will win the game. Joe suspects it’ll be a fanbase divided there, too.

We got lots of rush up the middle though, against a QB with bum wheels. It’s not out of the question that the Bucs can still stop that offense when they need to. They’ve just gotta be better against the run to go with it.

Saw an interview with a Chargers fan site. They’re looking at Kancey and Vita as being a potential problem for them since the middle of their line isn’t a strength of theirs.

Anyway, interesting insight into the inner workings of JBF – lol

I can see all 3 Joe’s points and it really good go either way BUT I predict our offensive and defensive lines will rise to the occasion, the secondary may give up a few plays but they’ll hold together in the end, Baker will get enough protection to throw a few TD’s and the run game will continue to shine.

Our offense will play well all 4 quarters!

    Bucs 34 – Chargers 17

I can see the division, I, myself, am divided. Decided to not try to predict and hope for the best.

If we were healthy, we win this game. Second level of our D scares me, like it does all of you. As the week has gone on, I have come more and more onto the side of Bucs winning. The stats seem to support us.

Chargers have not played a tough schedule. They had close games vs Ravens and Chiefs but lost all 3. The Chiefs are one of 5 teams to not score 30 this year, so we have a better offence than almost all of the Chargers opponents.

The 3rd down discrepancy between clubs is massive, in favour of our Bucs… Chargers gotta go again Thursday and just had a division slugfest, heading into another… all their games matter at this point of the year but Thursday if much bigger for them obviously in WC race with Denver. We are underdogs, we were hurt in Detroit and came up with a huge effort vs the best offense in the league… If Baker stays clean and they protect the ball, this game should be ours.

What do you have for us Bowles? His defensive gameplan is gonna win or lose this game I think unless Baker turns it over and the offense stinks.

Who else is going to be at the game tomorrow?!

  5. adam from ny Says:

    i’ve got a decent feeling about tomorrow’s game…

we usually go to the west and flop out most of the time…

i’m seeing baker rally the troops and supplying energy to the squad tomorrow…as baker gets a little more back on track…

and the bucs pull out the big win 27-20, with a nice offensive showing vs a stingy d

  6. Hodad Says:

With this team, heck with this league, any team can beat any team any Sunday. If all the favorites won every week we won’t have gambling. Do you have a stable marriage? Try gambling!

  7. DungyDance Says:

Lol. Just curious, what gives one Joe the distinction of being “Joe” when there is a difference of opinion?

  8. Proudbucsfan Says:

IMPO, I don’t think either of the Joes have ever been in a fist fight 🤣 but I can tell from years of being a Joe Bucs fan alumni that either of them wouldn’t back down. Go Bucs,

  9. Brandonbucc Says:

If they play the way they have the last two games….lose
