Lots Of Bucs-Raiders Tickets Available Cheap

December 6th, 2024

Perhaps you remember the unbridled ecstasy in the streets following Sunday’s thrilling Bucs overtime win, one that vaulted the team into a tie for first place.

Well, all that happiness hasn’t translated into ticket sales. (Yes, Joe’s sarcasm button is on.)

Over at the Buccaneers’ official online ticket seller, the fee thieves at TicketMaster, unsold seats for Sunday’s game against the Raiders are available in more than 65 stadium sections, spanning all levels of The Licht House. The unsold “cheap” seats start at $91.00 plus fees.

Joe also sees pairs of tickets (together) for sale at reseller StubHub starting at $47.00 each plus fees, way under face value.

The Bucs haven’t had a home game in four weeks — four! So Joe’s not sure what this says about excitement for Todd Bowles’ team.

It’s too early to blame Christmas for poor ticket sales and the weather forecast for Sunday is gorgeous, a high of 75 degrees.

    The marketplace speaks loudly…
    Times are tough…

  2. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Well the Rays have it worse can barely sell 3000 ticket no matter how many World Series they attend, as viewers🤣

  3. DBS Says:

Tampa Fans don’t live there anymore. Most of us have left that new New York South Green Bay area. The place is mostly translated.

  4. JTHV Says:

This is a schitty game right before Christmas during tough times and multiple hurricane recovery. If I didn’t have season tix and the 75 degree weather to look forward to, I’d watch the 1pm Bucs and the 1pm Vikes/Falcons games at my local sports bar instead of going to see the 2-10 Raiders’ 3rd string QB light up Bowles Pass Defense. Matter of fact, I still may just do that instead anyway.

  5. infomeplease Says:

The price reflects the quality of the Bucs opponent along with the poor Bucs defensive play. The Bucs tend to play down to their opponent’s level. A great example was last week’s game against the Panthers. Combine all that with TB insisting his defense plays a lot of soft zone and many fans would rather stay home and yell at their TVs! This game, like the last, could very well be a flip of the coin. The Bucs need to put up 30 points to guarantee a win. I hope I’m wrong.

  6. Jeff Says:

Sorry Yucs fans. Raiders take this one. Raiders 30 Yucs 23

    Ouch Babe!

  8. David Kilmer Says:

Yes have to agree with above. As much as I am a fan watching this defense is just hard!!. At home I can and usually turn it off after watching the defense give up play after play with the field wide open. I called out you and Ira this am. Maybe you and Ira can ask the Bucs to bring back the defense that played Detroit early in the season. If that defense returned I imagine myself and many others would go. However, I think that defense is lost somewhere on a remote island. The present one is just hard to follow.

  9. Woodenman Says:

The Bucs are 6-6 that means you are 50 % on the year year Jeff since you pick them to lose every week. Not really making any money are you?

  10. David S Pear Says:

Bucs fans refuse to pay to witness bottom class defense giving up 400 yards passing to otherwise lousy quarterbacks.

  11. MelvinJunior Says:

I have absolutely, no idea what this “DBS” just said, talkin bout New York, Tampa, South Green Bay, & something about being “translated.” I tell ya one thing, we all need it “translated” after THAT bunch of gibberish/nonsense.

Dave, the Bucs on average sell 95% of their home game tickets. Who are the fans refusing to go? Or are you just wishing?

  13. AMI_Chris Says:

When I was a kid in NJ, I used to love going to Giants games at Yankee Stadium, then Giants Stadium. The green of the field and the colors of the stadium were tones that did not come through on the old standard TVs. Everyone around us were longtime season ticket holders and you got to know them.

Now, we’re squeezed into tiny seats in front of drunk Lions or Packers fans, music blares so loud between plays that you can’t talk to your friends or kids, and there is always someone in the middle of the row going to the bathroom and making you get up. Plus, HDTVs are great. My days of going to Bucs games are over.

Need club level w free drinks for $50 please 😉

  15. David Pear Says:

Louis Friend – apparently you didn’t or can’t read Joe’s articles. And a large portion of the sold tickets you mention end up in opposing fans’s hands. Maybe some advice from Hannibal Lecter would do you well.

  16. Mike Johnson Says:

I’ll root for us on TV. Its like I told my gift seeking relatives this year…Times R tight, Times R Hard, Heres your GD Xmas card. And I mean every word of it too.

  17. BucsDan Says:

Bucs won the Super Bowl with a GOAT at QB in Tom Brady. Opening day the following season had tons of open seats and lots of away fans. Just the reality of being a Bucs fan or player.

  18. KABucs Says:

Reasons for the lack of ticket sales:
    1. Buc’s defense
    2. Playing the Raiders. Low quality football.
    3. It’s the holidays and people are busy
    4. Christmas gifts are where the money is going
    5. There are no Las Vegas residents that have moved to Tampa Bay… their fan base is pretty weak here
    6. After the hurricanes and this current presidency, nobody has any extra cash

  19. DBS Says:

Melvein. Jr . auto correct changed the word. It was Transplants And yes the area is no longer made up of hometown fans. Tampa is mostly filled with fans from NY.. Green Bay and other areas. That is why the stadium is always full of the opposing team’s fans.

  20. FortMyersDave Says:

Looks like Tampa-Sarasota is the only TV market in FL to get the Bucs, as everyone else is getting the Fins and the Jags according to the 506 website. As Miami and the Jags are not contenders, this is probably because the Raiders are circling the drain so the Bucs got the CBS E broadcast team and the suits who assign the games think the game is of little interest outside of Tampa, Oklahoma, Reno and Vegas according to the map.

  21. Scotty Mack Says:

AMI_Chris – You forgot to tell us about how far you walked to school (uphill both ways) and to say “get off my lawn”.

  22. Scotty Mack Says:

KABucs – you forgot to mention that the economy blows and that Bucs tickets are a luxury that many, many families can no longer afford. Hopefully, that changes in the next four years.

  23. Bucks 'n' Bucs Says:

It could be because of so many lousy Bucs fans. Ones that can only complain about not having 50 point blowouts. This ain’t college ball. All teams are made up of professional athletes that can play well on any given Sunday.

Believe me, if I lived anywhere near Tampa I’d be at every home game. Unfortunately, it’s a long commute from Ohio.

  24. Chrisonthecape Says:

All these people blaming the economy, give me a break. If this team was good, the fans would show up. The product, because of Bowles, is garbage.

  25. Jerseybuc Says:

Last Raider Buc game I went to Derek Carr threw for 500
Yards and won on a questionable flag in the endzone. Plenty of Raider fans carrying on during and following the game. Our fans don’t go to home games like other teams fans do, forget traveling. So I expect lots of black and silver Sunday even as we desperately need game for playoff run and the raiders are playing out the string. Fill the stadium Buc fans! Enjoy our opportunity to host another playoff game if things go well. Go Bucs!

  26. Joe Says:

Last Raider Buc game I went to Derek Carr threw for 500 Yards and won on a questionable flag in the endzone.

That was the famous Hey Jude game. That clown cost the Bucs a playoff berth. smh

  27. David Says:

It is all about money You claim some cheap seats for 47… The majority are much higher than that. By the time you park, buy some food and a drink, 2 people are going to spend $250 or more, and that’s for the worst seats in the house.

Tough to do the way the economy has been and with Christmas in a couple weeks

  28. David Says:

    Chrisonthecape

The economy is not BS. Inflation has destroyed this economy for four years in case you have not noticed. Groceries and gas are almost double per week from what I used to pay, kinda hard to do when you have a couple kids and Christmas coming

  29. BakerBucs says Says:

    JTHV u r such a big shot who gives a sh!t what u do

  30. Austin James Says:

I’d definitely go if I could snag some cheap seats…but have to work today
