Do The Bucs Have The Best Running Game In The NFL?

Joe was flashing back to the 1990s this afternoon and slamming shots in ecstasy.
It had nothing to do with Trent Dilfer and everything to do with the Bucs running the ball 39 times for 236 yards and a TD.
Dammit, the Bucs might have the best rushing attacking in the NFL.
Somewhere, Jon Gruden was drinking watered down American beer and screaming, “Pound The Rock.”
Yes, Carolina has a terrible run defense, but this was their worst beatdown of the season on the ground. The Bucs relentlessly hammered away for 6.1 yards per carry and the Panthers had no answer.
And it wasn’t just Bucky Irving. The Bucs ran right and left and up the gut. Rachaad White capped off overtime with a 38-yard scamper to set up the winning kick.
The Bucs entered today’s game ranked No. 4 in the NFL in yards per carry. They might be No. 2 when the NFL week ends.
Joe hasn’t seen a Tampa Bay run game like this since 2015. And this one keeps improving as the season marches on. It certainly helps when your entire offensive line is 27 years old and younger.
If running the ball wins games in December and January, then the Bucs are in fine shape.

If Tucker got R White’s carries, we would DEFINITELY have the best rushing attack in the NFL.
As it stands, the Ravens are prob better.

Love the run game. I wish Bucky had been the option late in the game on a critical 3 and 1. Instead we got White and a huge loss. Still, the run game has been vastly better than the past few years. Bucky is a beast!!!!

Right now this team can most definitely run AND stop the run. Our O-line is humming and the DLine is very stout even though they don’t get many sacks. This is what makes us competitive and able to beat any team in the league.

Here’s Bucky. The man will win the rookie of the year award and this staff refuses to play him in crunch time. I’ve never seen such ineptitude in my life. I remember the cowboys playing Emmitt smith with a separated shoulder.

Tucker probably should have gotten that 3rd and 1 carry in the 4th, but damn, Rachaad’s run in OT won the game.

Game would have been over if they would have run Bucky instead of White on 3 and 1. Bucky is such a better runner. 111 of Buckys yards came after contact!! White falls down in a stiff wind. Let’s hope Bucky is ok… we’re gonna need him to keep winning.

I’m with Erik- running White on the goal line is what got us into that mess in the first place. Look at the tape of running Tucker with a fullback.

Bucky is special. Watch him run and think Sanders and Payton. Not the biggest guy by any means, but you rarely get a square hit on him – unless he returns kicks, which was a very, very dull decision.

Guys – Bucky was hurt late in the 4th with what looked like a left rib injury. But I agree that Bucky is RB #1 and should get the ball more. White did a nice job today. We’re in good shape.

Saquan Barkley and Derrick Henry are the best running games in the NFL but the Bucs ain’t bad either just too bad the OC won’t give us the best by allowing Sean Tucker to eat and get better with more playing time each game

Everyone is calling for more Bucky and I do agree dude his legit but for one he’s got that toe or foot problem from college they have talked about and 2 now his side. We are going to need him and not over use him. White isn’t as bad as everyone including Joe thinks.

We all want Bucky to have 25 touches a game but unfortunately that’s not a realistic workload for him as a rookie with a toe issue.
He was also hurt a bit and prolly tired by the time they got down there for the game winning TD.
Going sideways with a pull was a bad call. Perfect spot for Tucker going straight ahead or tush push with Baker.
