Bum Thumb Overcome

Many, including Joe, held their breath when Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman was pulled from the first home preseason game against the Chiefs after fracturing the tip of his thumb following through on a pass, hitting his thumb on the helmet of Tamba Hali.
Sometimes, this can lead to months on the bench. Fortunately for the Bucs, this happened to Freeman early in the preseason.
The way Freeman played in the Bucs’ win at Carolina, it’s easy to forget it’s quite possible his thumb hasn’t healed. This was the topic of conversation from former NFL quarterback Rich Ganno.n as he discussed the Bucs with his Sirius NFL Radio co-host Adam Schein during the Tuesday broadcast of “The Blitz.”
“I don’t think we have made enough of this,” Gannon said of Freeman’s bum thumb. “I did the Bucs game in the opening week and I watched him at practice the Friday before. That thumb was ugly-looking, it was it was swollen, it was sore. I didn’t think he would play but he did and he made plays. He’s a big reason why the Buccaneers are undefeated.”
Schein added that bandwagon Bucs fans need to tune their car radios and computers to Sirius NFL Radio for quality Buccaneers talk.
“We are the official home of your undefeated, 2-0, well-coached, Bucs,” Schein declared.

well, we still don’t know for sure the thumb injury is over and I am surprised no one has asked about it.

Schein is a moron, all he has done all preseason is bash th Bucs and tell us how bad they will be. This schmuck is wrong more than a weather man.
He literally knows jack about football. And his on air mate Gannon has been complaining about the Bucs ever since they embarrased him in the SB and then ended his career when D. Brooks broke his neck

Wow Rahdom, that is a well played obvious assessment you made there. Do you always expect what you inspect like that? Where do you rank them right now? Is it still 32 because meany faced chucky and his nuts are gone?

I’m surprised that they made that decision Miguel, but don’t feel like any joke is on me. I thought it was time for Gruden to go, if you don’t then I can live with that opinion.
He IS NOT coming back. Hope he gets a job as a HC somewhere soon if that is his wish.
Best of luck to him and his worshippers wherever he lands. Except any games, or circumstance against the bucs.

What you don’t realize Rahdom is you are really setting yourself up to look bad if we beat the Steelers. The people who love this team are going to be neither shocked or angry if we lose to the Steelers. We will just chalk it up to getting beat by a better, more experienced, championship caliber team. But if we win, oh boy, if we win, you are once again (don’t think we didn’t see your Andy Reid is a genius because he’s not starting Michael Vick comments) a complete jack ass. You just might want to tread softly for a while, because your foot is already shoved in your mouth further than Gruden’s … , never mind!!!
