Stylez G. White Begging Bucs Fans For Love
September 20th, 2010There have been countless stories written, words spoken, beers swilled over the Bucs not selling tickets.
Sure, it’s hard to afford tickets if you don’t have a job, or your house is underwater worse than the reefs off Pinellas County.
Now that the Bucs have their best start since their NFC South title season of 2005, Stylez G. White is hoping Bucs fans can somehow scrape together a few bucks and support the team when the Bucs host the Steelers. White Twittered this from Carolina after the Bucs’ second win of the season Sunday.
Want to say thanks to the fans! I will see y’all nxt week for the steelers game! Y’all better be there we gonna need u!
The game is expected to be sold out. Will be interesting to see, after the Bucs have surprised everyone this side of Pat Yasinskas, what the ratio of Bucs to Steelers fans will be.

Ok Teen wolf We’ll be there you got 9 more sacks to go to hit your target

That’s a great point, I hadn’t thought of that. The Steelers have such an unbelievably huge throng of fans, they are everywhere you go. That’s probly why the game sold out.

Hmmm, that reminds me. I had some harsh words for Stylez in the preseason, regarding his work ethic. It’s obvious that I was way wrong. I’m sorry for my earlier comments, Mr. White, you have definitely been a force on the D line. You are playing fantastic, and I am so glad you are on our team! Again, I was wrong about you earlier- sorry!

This team is becoming a very exciting team on Sundays.Great Job by Rah coaching up this extremely young team. Freeman is going to be a super star and mike Williams will be right behind him. Rock Ray Jay this weekend buc fans! 3-0 here we come.

I really enjoy reading this blog multiple times on a daily basis. Joebucsfan got me through a terribly long offseason with quality Bucs content. But, saying that Styles G. is “begging Bucs fans for love” based on his tweet alone is a stretch of journalistic license and unrepresentative of the message he actually sent. His tone was more of a “friendly demand” than any type of beg. Certainly not the end of the world, but curiously and unnecessarily misleading.

I hope the Steelers fans wear their black jerseys, their woolen caps, arrive with a massive hangovers and sit on the east side staring into a blazing sun with 99 degree heat with 99% humidity. I hope your beer is stale and your QB is Byron Leftwich. I hope you bet a month’s salary and gave up 17 points. HAHAHAHAHA

Well, I was at the Cleveland game, and it was almost shameful. I could hear the Cleveland Dog Pound barking louder then us Tampa fans cheering. I HOPE enough bandwagon fans ante up this Sunday, and come out to support Tampa. IMHO, we shall need all the help we can get to beat the Steelers.

Sorry but hope, wishful thinking and fan noise ISN’T going to beat the Steelers.
What WILL beat the Steelers?
1. An agressive Bucs defense that produces turnovers like they did Sunday
2. Intelligent play from the QB, like throwing away passes when there is no open receivers, like Josh has done for 2 weeks now
and finally
3. Better work from the O-line in opening holes for the RB’s to squirt thru.
So far the defense performed MUCH better than the offense this season. In fact I really have to admit that the D-Line has performed much better than I believed they would be doing this early in the season. I also believe that the coverages that the D is moving in and out of are a reflection of Morris’s good work and making the proper halftime adjustments.

Both Defenses are looking good, and our offense is ahead of their offense. Apple, I am with you on hoping we outnumber their fans, but I see another victory on the horizon.

Ill be there, i can’t stand the Steelers!
Halfway on the bandwagon. Excellent job so far. Rah is the coach of the year if this keeps up.
I guess that second half improvement was for real last year. Olson has improved also in not over using the pass.

we all need to be out there and support our 2-0 bucs!!

The matchup to watch for that could decide the game, in my opinion, is Josh Freeman and the Bucs receivers/Winslow against the Steelers secondary. We can’t run the ball on their front 7, period, end of story. So if we’re going to win, it will have to be on the arm of Freeman. Other than Polamalu, who is as good as it gets at the safety position, I’m not impressed by any other player in their secondary. So we should be able to throw it around a little bit as long we avoid Mr. 43 and pass protect, which is easier said than done. I don’t think our defense will have any problems with their offense. Stack 7 or 8 in the box and dare Batch/Dixon/Leftwich/whoever to beat us with their arm. I can’t believe how excited I am for this game. Go Bucs!

Alright eric! Go Bucs!
I pity the poor Steeler fans that sit in our section. The Cleveland fans bailed quick and these guys will too. No one comes in our house, our area, and disrespects our team. Cheer for your team, but don’t disrespect mine. And while your at it, wipe your feet.

Stylez G. White’s role is……
the only man with talent that knows what is happening each play…..
clean up hitter…
and proving it true…

Does anyone know if Pittsburg has a quarterback on there practice roster? If Dixon is out they could be down to two quarterbacks for our game. And we all know what an easy target Byron is for the defense. This could get interesting.
September 20th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Looks like Leftwich will be gunning for the Bucs.
They should obviously blitz the hell out of him.
September 20th, 2010 at 6:58 pm
Steelers fans are the worst! Cannot stand them!! Tampa Bay just has too much white trash from up north who root for other teams. That’s why the bucs and rays games dont sell out.
September 20th, 2010 at 7:02 pm
Hey where has that nitwit radiomushmouth been? He’s not on here yapping that bullstuff anymore. Raheem Morris is calling some great games he opened up the puzzle and he’s solving it. Mike T comming back to Tampa steel sharpens steel and I think we are making a better sword to cut off his head. Just rush passer like we proven we can and look for winslow and Williams to show and prove.
September 20th, 2010 at 7:12 pm
Unfortunately, the Steelers are not taking us lightly, on twitter Ryan Clark keeps on saying how we are much better this year, and that they won’t get cocky.
September 20th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
They will probably start Leftwich with Batch as the #2. Randel El will be the assigned #3 besides being a wide out. They have had some issues with their O-line for years and LT Starks sat out last week and Flozell Adams at RT. With the human statue (Leftwich) starting, the pass rush could know him out early and then we’d have Batch back there. I like our chances this week.
Las Vegas has the line with the Steelers -2 1/2. I think the Bucs will get them in the heat at the CITS. Go Bucs.

Beast…Joe booted him for posting pirate sites and telling Joe there are plenty of places for him to go…Joe said go then. Do not worry, that dud Javier is still in here saying the same type BS.

Luke McCown was hurt during his brief appearance Sunday and will miss the rest of the season because of a torn ACL

I hate the way Tampa fans beat up on themselves because of the out of town fans in our stadium. The reason there are Cleveland and Pittsburgh fans all over the country is because their cities began dying back in the seventies and they scattered to better places (like Florida).
I have actually heard, more times than I care to count, fans of the Bears, Packers etc. (back in the NFC central days) say ‘look how many of us are here, you never see Tampa fans in our stadium’. Well no crap Sherlock; who in their right mind would go FROM Florida to a place like Minneapolis or Cleveland or anywhere else in the rust belt?
Don’t feel bad that they’re here, it’s just an admission that they would rather be in Florida instead of whatever dying rust belt hell hole they crawled out of.

I have seen the Buccaneers play in twelve stadiums from Boston to San Fran and will continue to do so until I die.

You made my night man…lol
