Rachaad White Explains His Shaved Head

October 31st, 2024

New do.

Joe couldn’t let Rachaad White leave the locker room today without asking him about shaving off his signature locks.

White has had his dreadlocks since before his appearance at the NFL Scouting Combine in 2022. And White’s a man of style who cares about his hair.

Now the hair is gone.

White made it sound like an easy and practical decision.

“To be honest with you, I was just sitting at the table trying to eat with my daughter and next thing you know I got to tie my hair up and flick it and do all that,” White said. “Hair was getting in my food if I didn’t tie it up. So I was just like, ‘Yeah, it’s time for me to cut it.'”

So there you have it. If you run into White at International Mall, you might not recognize him.

White may have messed with his hair, but he hasn’t changed his hands. White, again, is catching 90-plus percent of his targets. His three receiving touchdowns are the most by any NFL running back this season, and he ranks fifth in total catches (28) among running backs.

It’s good to get ahead of things, once you notice any sort of balding, just shave it all off, so that way you don’t look desperate. Me, however, I have amazing long flowing locks, and I’m not cutting jack.

  2. Bucsgoham12 Says:

Hey the Jets just dropped the ball clearly before breaking the goaline. They should have all the angles for this one…

  3. Rod Munch Says:

Hilarious this idiot dropping the ball before going across the endzone line. Also why is this moron celebrating, all he did was run through a completely wide open field – it’s not like he made some remarkable play.

Man, that guy should be benched if not flat out cut. What a moron.

  4. Mike C Says:

Yeah Rod, then I have to shave my head ALL THE E FFIN time, no thanks I will “look desperate ” with a hat on and not worry about it.

  5. Rod Munch Says:

Mike C – You should invest in a wig. It worked for Burt Reynolds.

  6. RVATom Says:

I wondered about the change too. Thanks for asking.

  7. Rod Munch Says:

This Jets offense is one of the most boring things I’ve ever seen. Reminds me of the Trent Dilfer offenses. Why in the world would Rodgers, if he’s running this team, want to run this terrible, boring, ineffective offense? Something tells me he might not have as much power as the drama queens in the media claim.

  8. Let em bake Says:

    Rod “ Sampson “ munch.😊

  9. Daniel Z Says:

    It’s all Rodgers can handle.
When LaFleur came to GB, it was pretty well-reported that Rodgers pushed back at having a lot of pre-snap motion and a newer style of offense. Look at how GB’s offense looks now.

  10. Bojim Says:

    He looks good either way.

  11. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

If only the Glazed Donut boys would look at coach Bowles and say “We’re tired of you getting into our food time for you to go” and cut him

  12. Jake been there since the beginning Says:

I’ve been using trimmers since a friend lost a bet thirty years ago. Five or so minutes ain’t bad three or four times a month. I think Burt had that thing glued on or something. Trump at times gets a good gust of wind and whatever he’s got going on is looking like a bird raising it’s wing. Yeah a lot less maintenance.

  13. Tbbucs3 Says:

Devin White getting Juked by a 40 year old Aaron Rodgers is why he’s no longer a Buc

Does Amazon need the nfl contracts now because it seems like cameras are everywhere

  15. FortMyersDave Says:

Bucs offense and Jets defense put together would be a decent team. Granted the Jets are pounding a team down some O-linemen and its 2 top receivers but if the Bucs D were facing the Texans tonight, Mixon would have 175 yards, Dell 150 and 3 TDs and even their TE Schultz would be having a monster day. Also have to love how the Jets continually give the Texans second chances via penalties on 4th down but the Texans cannot take advantage, if the Bucs were on D the point would be moot as Stroud or Mixon would walk into the endzone for a TD.

  16. SB Says:

I honestly think he did it to make himself more streamlined so he can find the holes easier.

  17. Crickett Baker Says:

So why did we not get a pic showing the new look? I have been dying for him to cut his hair. Can we see it?

Yes, I have said all along that Amazon has wonderful cameras. You never miss anything when you watch a game there.

    rod –

when you munch rugs do you have the same issue as rachaad…?

do your long flowing locks get in the food…?

    Joe..

Why didn’t you ask him why he’s not 2nd or 3rd string behind Bucky and Tucky?

Of why he’s so slow, or hesitant, not decisive?

Or just krap as a runner?

You have talked SO MUCH smack about RW for so long and yet when you get a chance, you ask him about his hair? 🤣

  20. Joe Says:

    GoneGator:

Why didn’t you ask him why he’s not 2nd or 3rd string behind Bucky and Tucky?

Todd Bowles has been asked that. It’s because he (or the offensive coaches) believe White is better in the passing game (he is) and a better pass blocker.

If Joe went up the guy and asked, “Why do you suck as a runner?” Joe would very likely get his credentials pulled. There’s a certain etiquette that has to be followed. Besides, Joe can see why he’s not a good runner. We all can see it if you are willing to see it.

But Todd said RW wasn’t good as a runner? OK.
And he didn’t say that Bucky/Tucker may have benefitted from better blocking earlier this year?

I understand etiquette. Of course you can’t say why do you suck to a player – lol.

But to be around someone who you’ve dissed so heavily, so frequently, for so long and talk about the weather (or his new hairstyle)? We had a word/phrase for that kind of thing back in the day but I won’t use it here.

  22. Joe Says:

And he didn’t say that Bucky/Tucker may have benefitted from better blocking earlier this year?

Look, Joe gave you the answer. Joe’s not Todd Bowles. It’s not Joe’s call who plays or who sits.
