So will Mike Evans play Monday night on his bad hamstring?
It’s seems he’s trending that way.
Evans used to be a regular guest on The Rich Eisen Show and sort of disappeared from there for years. He returned today.
Evans was asked point blank if he’s play Monday night against the Ravens and replied that he’d have to check with his magic 8-ball. Then Evans said, “outlook good, outlook good.”
Joe realizes the Bucs want the Ravens thinking Evans will play, But after watching everything Evans for 10 years, Joe has a feeling Evans was being sincere, as in the outlook is good.

The Bucs should give Devin Culp a look, he has the size, the speed. He can’t do any worse than the TEs, WRs, other than ME and CG!

At somepoint during the past 5 seasons ME13 has played with a bad hamstring. I don’t know how he manages. Last Sunday he had to surrender to it for most of the game. Hopefully he is able to go at least 80% on MNF! If not next man up!

If the Bucs win, it will be with an unleashed offense called by a smart OC. ME13 needs to rest. I still can’t believe Baltimore has the second worse passing defense in the NFL.

On my thigh is a beautiful Irish 4 leaf clover with an inscription “Luck of the Irish”
I take no credit for swimming, lifting or any of that stuff. I know WHY I do it but candidly I do not know how. So I write it off to my Irish luck!

I’m hoping Evans is in there. I read an article on SI talking about the matchup and Harbough’s seems to have real (and rightfully so) concern with covering Mike and Chris. Ravens have second worst pass defense and I would love to see 13 and 14 feast

@orlbucfan – that is bc they have the best run d in the league. They also have the lead a lot so teams have to pass. They make you one dimensional.

If he can play it makes our team better. Even if he doesn’t catch a pass. He doesn’t need to get many snaps, he’ll be giving full effort even if he’s not fully fit. Because he is a leader on this team and he’s gonna pull whatever load he’s able to pull. Palmer and McMillan and Tucker and Irving and the kids will see what Mike is doing. They will be inspired to do more. Voila! Mike makes them better. That’s why he’s great.

How can you say this when they have a terrible pass defense and our offense has been at its best when we throw? Have you watched any Bucs games?

Actually, I kinda hope he rests that hammy. Having Mike at 100% against Atlanta & San Francisco would be more valuable than winning a meaningless game against a non-conference game.

They have tried using MIke as the designated decoy just to draw the double coverage before. It has had limited success. If he is not 100% I hope they rest him. It’s a long season and we got to beat the snot out of Atlanta.

Give Mike the rest..ATL game is sooo much more important. This is an AFC opponent – win or lose, not a huge deal. If Bucs don’t beat Falcons, ATL goes to 4-0 in the division and Team Tampa falls to 1-2 with likely no shot of recovering.
