Little disappointed they didn’t mention the Bucs defense AT ALL.

Yeah…the Panthers defense had 3 interceptions, yes…but so did their last opponent. Matt Moore threw 3 interceptions and did not have a good game.
Josh Freeman, on the other hand, threw only 1 interception and won the game.
The Panthers lost Peppers. We gained McCoy and Price. Talib, barring another game suspension by the commish, will be back and ready to get interceptions.
They neglect to mention that our secondary is quickly improving into one of the best in the NFL. They neglect to mention that every game, out defensive line (counting preseason) has gotten better.
They neglect to mention Williams, Spurlock, Stroughter and Winslow (Winslow will be playing, they are just resting his knees to preserve him for games).
They neglect to mention a running game that is improving.
And most of all, they say IF the Panthers run the ball 50 times! Please!! They won’t be doing that because they’ll be playing catch up once we pick the ball off.
My only question is how Freeman’s thumb is for this week.

I agree with all of your points except the improving run game…I don’t see it. Atleast not yet…hopefully this week.

Didn’t Kirwin predict the Browns to win too? Fantastic, that means we’ll be 2-0.
BTW, the 3 Panther picks last week were deflected balls off the primary WR, not stellar plays by the defense. Chris Gamble has not practiced all week due to injury and is questionable. Guess who Gamble is to cover? That’s right, Mike Williams.

The Bucs aren’t getting any credit for 2 reasons: 1) We did suck last year, and 2) Analysts are not using there head, only making trendy picks.
It’s not hard to see we are a much better team than last year, much. That doesn’t mean we’re world beaters by any means, but we DO deserve more credit than we’re getting.

Win over the Browns was shaky at best, very fortunate.
Not expecting another one till maybe Rams.

KIRWAN IS A DICK.He hasnt said a decent thing about the Bucs the whole preseason except for liking Freeman!!!

KIRWAN don’t know Chit. Tampa is gonna beat Carolina, and their secondary don’t “know our receivers” either. They have never seen Williams and Spurlock before, but they will Sunday. Peppers is gone, and Freeman will pick them apart. Kirwan is gonna be 0 and 2 after Sunday, and Tampa will be 2 and OMG !
