Instead of closing the gap with the only receiver in his zone, he keeps the 5 yard cushion between them until after the catch is made, and then injures himself making the tackle on a catch he gave up for having 0 football instincts. Another year, another blame the refs for the HC and the entire coaching sucking. HC is awful, scheme is terrible…soft…had its secret code figured out…whatever you want to say about it. They haven’t had a edge rusher/pass rushing DE since Selmon. Here we are spending another fall talking about the same non sense, blaming the same people, watching the same players underachieving and hoping for a mid season firing that will never happen. Everybody is under the influence of an overrated game plan that beat the Chiefs (it’s helps when 2 of the linemen KC used that day were pulled off the street). Bowles is awful, has always been awful and will always be awful.
Injuries only pro long the inevitable. This a mediocre team who has taken advantage of being in a bad division. Plain and simple.
