  1. Josh Says:

Could anyone who voted “yes” please explain why? He couldn’t cover any better than Britt. While he was faster, that’s where the upgrade ends; he was literally replaced by Britt last year due to his poor performance. I just don’t understand it.

  2. Dewey Selmon Says:

I’ve had cancer twice. No way in heck I want to invite to back.

  3. Josh Says:

If all these players were undrafted free agents who went on to have great careers, why not consider Grier Jr.?

    – Antonio Gates
    – Warren Moon
    – Kurt Warner
    – Tony Romo
    – John Randle
    – James Harrison
    – Jason Peters
    – Priest Holmes
    – Rod Smith
    – Jeff Saturday
    – Adam Vinatieri
    – Chris Harris Jr.
    – Dick Lane
    – Joe Perry
    – Justin Tucker
    – Wes Welker
    – Willie Wood
    – Larry Little
    – London Fletcher
    – Arian Foster
    – Drew Pearson
    – Emlen Tunnell
    – Emmitt Thomas

These examples demonstrate that talent can be found anywhere. Just because your drafted high doesn’t mean you belong in the NFL

The success of numerous undrafted free agents—such as Antonio Gates, Warren Moon, Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, and many others—raises an important question: why not consider Antonio Grier Jr.? Am I saying he’s that good no I’m not but…. Additionally talented players like John Randle, James Harrison, and Jason Peters exemplify how talent can be found outside the traditional draft process. Demonstrating that being drafted high does not always correlate with success in the NFL; exceptional players can emerge from any background.

  5. Joe in Michigan Says:

Sure, and bring back AB, Swaggy Baker, and Austin Seferian-Jackwagon while they’re at it.

    NO.

  6. LakelandBuc Says:

Why should they trade for a underperforming retread that they got rid of? They should have traded for the Rams MLB Earnest Jones. The Rams traded him for something like a 5th.

  7. El HEFE Rick Says:

If we get Winfield back can’t we have Tykee sub every now and then for passing downs ?? I mean Todd does a lot of different looks maybe this could be one

  8. Hodad Says:

He can’t even start for Philly’s sorry defense. I’m for giving Grier a shot. Can he be worse then Britt? I don’t think so, he had a nose for the ball during preseason, put him in coach.

  9. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Lakeland Buc,

I know you called DW a retread, but I think most of us read the R word that suits him best.
    😀

  10. Buc king Says:

    I said yes…
He knows the defense..knows the locker room..won a super bowl here and can catch fire potentially…
Also you can never have enough depth.
Now what do I think he’s worth?
5th or 6th rd draft pick..
If he was in the draft you would pay that fir him and he wouldn’t cost us nothing on the cap

  11. heyjude Says:

Doesn’t hurt to try Grier. Give him a chance.

  12. Ra'Shad Says:

    D. White issue was playing in zone coverage, Britt’s issue is playing in zone coverage. It’s the same issue, Devin is just faster than KJ.

  13. Josh Says:

Thank you for the honest response, Buc King. With that in mind, ask the locker room first. If— and it’s a big IF— they say yes, then a seventh is all I’d give because we need to do something or Britt will just get burned for 300-plus yards every game. Can he cover, not so far, was it just his piss poor attitude. Maybe??? Grier Jr, Deloach, a practice squad player from somewhere else (Kwon Alexander) just something else please because as joe pointed out in another thread that was “historically” bad.

  14. D-Rok Says:

Hey, D White can suck just as bad as Britt in coverage, but he’ll be faster at sucking.

No thanks. Homey can’t even get a job with his new team.

  15. Davenport Says:

    NOT ALLOWED

the NFL free agency rules dictate that the team that signs the FA cannot trade that player back to the team he came from for two years.

  16. Leighroy Says:

This poll has to be a joke. Hah, hah. Very funny.

  17. Ol' Boy Says:

Devin needs a Mickey Goldmill in his life…and some chickens.

  18. DRob Says:

Easy. David can sorta cover, Devin can blitz if he’s in h
Shape. Britt is only a run stopper. There is a role for Devin.
