I think this is the game that they run… A lot and go for some big passes downfield.
Falcons DB’s are very good and will probably try to take away all that short stuff.
That’s why I suspect a lot of running and a few more deep shots and previously. Comes down to the O line.
On defense, the birds have a lot of weapons but no one really stands out this year. You would think Kyle Pitts and the running back but It’s probably Jake London
None have been all that spectacular this year.
I think it starts with Stopping the run. If they can get a lead like last week and get after Cousins… He’s hard to sack but easy to pressure and rattle and he will throw INTs.

How about that Todd Bowels pass defense eh? Soft zone bust, everyone knew what they were gonna do and you let them do it anyway. Dean is awful. Zyon played his arse off at the end. You keep giving up 500 yards passing, you’re gonna lose. Bucs had that game and blew it. Choked. The coach choked. This one is totally on Todd.

Y’all are so funny. It took Cousins to throw the ball almost 50 times and have to gain over 400 yds to beat us. Yes, with 2 mins left they ran the most ignorant of plays to try to run the clock out, but can’t get mad at a team that has players missing and then lost more as the game went on. We are not at full strength. Calm DOWN!

First, our last offensive series was horrible. Pitiful.Second, our defense is not good. Blame it on injuries or whatever. But they let ATL score in line 4 plays on OT. Cousins is a bitch. Cry baby. Whiner. idk. The Bucs seemed to quit. Embarrassing loss. And Baker missing Evan’s for a wide open was a dagger to the heart.

Lots of injuries but a selfish play and Bowles logic are what led to this loss.
Love Lavonte. If you’re nor coasting in for 6, bat the ball down. He lost yards first, then the offense went backwards. An offense neutered by Bowles making the choice to not take any risk. He’s the anti Arians. I was pleading for them to pass the last 2 possessions. Great teams have always been able to either grind it forward or hit a play action surprise roll out. We don’t even try.
This is a 13 win roster with a 5 win head coach. He’s probably a 10 win coach between games but on gameday, he’s a knucklehead.

Some very questionable play calling by Cohen in that half. 3rd and 2 dee in their territory and calls a slow developing play rather than a quick pass or an outside run. Instead Baker gets sacked and we only get 3. And with a chance to win the game late in FG range we go Turtle and blow the game.

Why is anyone surprised. This secondary and defense has sucked for years. They can’t stop the run. Don’t want to invest in real pass rushers. This is what you get. Bad backups on top of that.

Kal6, that’s how you’re supposed to look at it. We’re good. Everybody freaking out, when we’re an incomplete team and still playing at a high level. We’re a competitive team and showing we can hang with anybody even when we’re missing key players. But let’s get on the fire the coach BS as usual. How about we wait until the wheels fall off and then bring that up.

They let them off the hook too many times. Dropped ints, stupid penalties, missed tackles, missed penalties, way to soft coverage, defenders falling down, stupid soft play calling the last series (should have went for a first down, we were already in FG position. But no, lets run three dumb tun plays that end up costing us yards and no points. There’s another reason we lost), and stupid fumbles, know who you’re playing (Bates notorious for peanut punch). Mostly all self inflicted errors. And I don’t think Bowles timid mindset will change So a lot to clean up to be considered good. Its not a total disaster but people need to heal fast and we need some MLB and pass rush help bad. Coach mindset wont change though unfortunately. Come on Mr. Licht, we need your help!

How many times was press man coverage called during this game? What does press man do? It delays the receiver at or near the line of scrimmage. How many times was the defense within a fraction of a second of sacking Cousins? This loss is on Bowles’ defensive game plan. The defense absolutely played their hearts out. Same with offense. But the play calling on defense absolutely sucked.

Sorry it’s Bowles and the OC. That was disgraceful waste of LVD saving the day with what should have been a Game ending interception! Talk about playing “not to lose” the OC calls runs up the middle you’re not going to kill the clock with almost 2 minutes left. If you want to work the clock , How about some flare passes? How about some pitchouts? How about just going back to what was working like Goodwin on the quick screen, how about Evans just to drive downfield turn around and get the 10 yard first down. He went away from every single thing that worked the whole game and got them the lead. Lavonte David sealed the deal. The OC coach unsealed it. And Bowles didn’t help..no adjustments, he went to playing scared at the end of the game and stopped blitzing cousins is way too damn accurate to not put pressure on him! Plus he’s not exactly mobile big mistake sitting back and getting picked apart! Bad on Bowles bad on Liam! They pissed away a game that was a W- on a silver platter! Shameful and disappointing. Go Bucs!!!
